As a working mom, I have a lot of things going on each week. Planning what I eat for lunch each day usually falls by the wayside. To be honest, if I don’t plan anything, I will probably eat something unhealthy from one of the many fast food restaurants near my office. I never feel good after eating fast food, and the regular afternoon slump is multiplied from the heaviness of my lunch time meal.
One thing that I do to combat this is to have a variety of Lean Cuisine® meals at the ready, either in my home freezer or in my work freezer. They are easy-to-eat, so if I need to eat at my desk, it’s totally fine. I also keep them at home for busy weekends when I want something hearty to last me through the afternoon. Lean Cuisine has made quite a few innovations with the new Lean Cuisine® Marketplace line. They are packed with protein, which is a really great way to stave off the afternoon slump. These keep me full until dinner! Not only are they offering protein packed options, but they have gluten-free options, organic ingredient options, and gluten-free options.
I wanted to share my lunch line up from this week and some of my favorite meals from the Lean Cuisine® Marketplace line! This week, I’m having the Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Cheese, Sweet & Spicy Korean-Style Beef, Sweet Sriracha Braised Beef, Butternut Squash Ravioli, and Orange Chicken. I love that I had not only a variety to choose from, but they also keep me going through the afternoon. If I had to choose a favorite it would be the Sweet & Spicy Korean-Style Beef. I devoured it before I remembered to take a picture. I stocked up at Target at the beginning of the week. And, bonus! They are on deal for $2, and there is a $1 off 5 coupon here.
Now that I’ve shared how I stay stocked up for lunch, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
