One of my favorite brands of lipstick is Bite Beauty. They make amazing products that are high quality. Plus, a Bite Beauty lipstick is made of food grade ingredients! There are many different statistics about how many pounds, tubes, whatevers of lipstick that women eat in a lifetime. Either way, we eat lipstick when we wear, whether it rubs off on our food or we lick it off during the day. Now, I don’t wear all food-grade lipstick, but I do love that there is the option out there!
I wanted to share my Bite Beauty lipstick collection, in case you’re wondering how some of the colors look! I don’t have a huge variety of the colors, but I do love all of them. Some of the colors are not available in the same product line. For example, I have Lychee in the Luminous Creme Lipstick, but it’s no longer available in that line. It is, however, available in the Lush Lip Tint. If I could not find the exact color online, I did not link to anything.
Lychee is half of a Bite Beauty Mix & Mingle duo that I won. I didn’t think the Bite Beauty lipstick nude shades would look great on me, so I got mini’s of them first! I’m glad I did. Although they don’t look bad, they are not colors that I reach for often.
Musk is the other end of Lychee, and I do reach for this Bite Beauty lipstick more often. Over the past couple months, I’ve gravitated to browny-pinks. I love them!
Fig is the first Bite Beauty lipstick I ever purchased. I saw it in one of LisaLisaD1‘s hauls and thought it was so pretty. It is a nude rose, and I absolutely love it. In fact, I’m about to run out of it! I will definitely repurchase this color.
I purchased Zin some time last year, and I am so glad I did. I had a huge swatch fest of Bite Beauty products on my arm at Sephora, and this is the one I picked. This is a really great muted berry. If you like berry lip colors but don’t want the intensity that some of them bring, this is perfect!
I purchased Pomegranate kind of on a whim. I was looking for a really great red lipstick, and this definitely fits that bill! You can find this gorgeous cherry red in many of their product lines. I would personally love to have it in the high pigment pencil, just to save me the fear of smearing it all over my face!
Tannin is my more recent purchase. I love this gorgeous, glam, 50’s pin up poppy red so much. Orange-y reds don’t usually look good on me, but this Bite Beauty lipstick has just enough orange to make it a poppy red. But, it’s not so much orange that I look like I’m going out for Halloween. It’s so gorgeous!
And now on to one of my other recent purchases! I purchase the Bite Beauty Bite Rewind Kit at Sephora. Unfortunately, it is out of stock. I believe it was released for the holidays. It was a mini, mirrored tin with four of the Matte Creme Lip Crayons. This is more of a review of the product than of the colors because only one of the colors is even available now!
The Matte Creme Lip Crayons are creamy, demi-matte lip crayons. You don’t have to sharpen them (yay), as they are retractable. The pigmentation of all four shades is stellar. They apply very smoothly to the lips, and I love the slightly sweet scent. As far as wear time, I have had great luck with these. As I’ve said many times before, I always have a drink by myself (whether if it’s water or coffee..), so long-wearing lip colors are a priority for me. These stayed on for at least 5 hours, and they left a slight stain behind. I did not have a weird line around my lips and the color did not settle into any lines. The color wore off evenly, so all I did was reapply and go on my merry way!
Like I said, only one of the colors is available now in a full size product. The Cafe color is available in a Mix & Mingle lip duo.
