I have worked with Wantable in the past. This fitness edit was purchased by me, with my own money. All opinions are mine alone.
A couple months ago, I decided it was time to nail down a workout routine. I’ve been wanting to run a half marathon for a couple years, and this year I suddenly felt motivated to do it. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week, do yoga and other exercises at home, and have been generally eating better. Since nothing makes the gym more fun than new exercise clothes, I ordered a Wantable Fitness Edit. I have enjoyed all the clothes I’ve purchased from my previous edits. Also, my next edit is on its way to me, so it’s definitely to share what I kept from this one!
If you’ve never heard of Wantable, it is a subscription box service. They have five different subscription boxes. I love the Fitness Edit. I haven’t tried their other boxes yet. For $20, a stylist picks out five work out gear items. When you create your account, you complete a quiz and let them know what you like/don’t like and the price points you prefer. When your box arrives, you have 5 days to decide what to keep. The $20 styling fee is applied to what you purchase. If you keep all 5 items, they apply a discount to your total.
Here’s what I got last month!
Shape Active Festival Shorts in Volcano, XL, $54
I had requested shorts, since I’ve never had any running shorts I’ve actually liked. Well, it was the same case with these. I don’t think I’m a shorts person. Never have been, never will be. I love the print/colors of these, and the lace up detail on the sides is super cute. These just weren’t for me,so I sent them back.
Shape Active Core “S” Seam Tank in Amaranth, XL, $34
This top matches the shorts. I absolutely love this color, and I don’t have a ton of purple in my workout wardrobe. The material was breathable and soft, but it also had some structure to it. I really liked it, but I ended up liking the other tank in my box a little more. I sent this back, part of me regrets it.
Cory Vines The Path Crop Legging in Onyx, XL, $49
I’ve never tried anything from the Cory Vines brand before, so I wasn’t expecting much from these leggings. They are very basic leggings. These are cropped but since I’m short, they hit me right at my ankles. The length is perfect and the material is super soft. It also sucks me in a little bit, which I love. It has a small pocket in the waste band that can hold a key. I decided to keep these, because once I tried them on I didn’t want to take them off. I’ve worn them to the gym, to lounge in, and to sleep in. They are incredibly comfortable and I have requested them for my next box. I hope my stylist can find them in a different color, but I would gladly purchase another pair in black.
Soybu Kyra Tank in Boardwalk, XL, $30
If you’ve read my blog for any amount of time, you’ll know this is my favorite shade of blue. I have a lot of clothing items in this color, so I really couldn’t pass this tank up. Spoiler alert: I kept it. The straps are interesting and comfortable. The bottom hem is very flowy, which I love. I have a few items from the Soybu brand, and most of them are my go-to items for the gym. Love it!!
Chaturanga Sports Bra in White, L, $42
I requested a sports bra, because I really don’t have enough. I’ve been going back and forth between the two that I have. It would be nice to have one or two more, so I’m not crunched to do laundry every day I work out. This sports bra was very pretty and almost … too pretty. I just couldn’t imagine sweating it, if that makes any sense at all. I kind of regret sending it back, but I know I can find a more practical sports bra somewhere.
Do you have any tips for working out? I’d love to hear them!
