In case you’ve missed a few posts over this past summer, we moved and are getting ready to build our forever home. To say that I’ve been glued to Pinterest would be a complete understatement. I’ve been making so many notes and saving inspirational photos and it’s all been … overwhelming. Of course, it’s overwhelming in a good way! But, we won’t be building another house during our lives. This is literally going to be our forever home. With that in mind, every decision feels super important.
The Southern Ideal Home Show is coming to Raleigh in September, and I will be attending it with my hubby. We’re hoping to not only get new ideas but to hopefully see some of the ideas we already have in person.
Today, I’m giving away two tickets to the Southern Ideal Home Show in Raleigh, NC. All the details are below, along with the widget to enter the giveaway. Good luck to all who enter!
The Southern Ideal Home Show, the Triangle’s largest home and garden event, is gearing up for its fall show Sept. 23-25 in Raleigh. The three-day showcase will be held at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds and will feature more than 300 top area professionals in home and garden.
One of the headliners of the show will be Boyce Thompson, author of The New New Home, presenting 10 of the most innovative newhome products for 2016. Many of the products are easy for homeowners to install themselves and include robots that monitor indoor air pollution, 3D printers that print actual homes, countertops that charge phones and more. Guests will be able to tour an interactive exhibit where they can touch and try these life-changing products.
In addition to the cutting-edge home items, the Showcase of Local Artists will make its debut at the fall show. Held in the Exposition Center, the showcase will feature 10-15 talented local artists from the Triangle with their work available for viewing and purchase. Back by popular demand, Brews and Bites, where guests can enjoy locally-crafted beers with savory foods created by top chefs and businesses in the Triangle, is returning to the show for a fourth time.
Guests are encouraged to come with their to-do lists as this year’s show will feature more ideas and solutions than ever before. Theshow will spotlight what’s trending in home improvement, building, kitchen and bath, outdoor living, interior decorating and more.
