I am so excited to share my beauty favorites today. This month, I have a few things I’ve been wanting for a while and a couple of surprise faves!
I placed an E.L.F. order a month or so ago and randomly received a bag of full sized makeup with what I had ordered. I didn’t remember using a coupon code or anything like that, so I guess it was just randomly thrown into my order. This face primer was one of the products in that bag, and I am so glad I’ve tried it! In the past, I’ve been a fan of ‘poreless’ face primers like the Clarins or L’Oreal ones. This one is similar in texture to those, and it smooths out my skin very nicely.
This conditioner is consistently sold out on Sephora. Every time I’ve gone to order, I haven’t been able to. When I was placing a recent Sephora order and saw this as a 100 point perk, I very quickly added it to my cart. If you remember, last year I purchased and loved (and still love!) the Dior Creme de Rose. The Aerin lip conditioner is very similar to that, only it’s a little thicker. It makes my lips so healthy, and they feel incredibly moisturized. The full size is $28, so I’ll be waiting for either a time to treat myself or when Sephora has sale.
Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color in Pale Mauve
This next favorite is a little more about the formula than it is the color. This particular color is a VIB Rouge exclusive, but the formula is amazing. This lipstick line from Bobbi Brown is pricey. Like the Aerin Rose Lip Conditioner, it is a splurge or something to purchase during a sale. This nude color is perfect for me, because it has just the right amount of pink in it. I find that brown-toned make me too washed out. If you have that same problem, a pink-toned nude might work for you.
Wet n Wild Brush Cleansing Cloths
I’m not sure if these brush cleansing cloths are new, but I saw them for the first time in Walgreens not too long ago. Since I’ve had a hard time staying on my brush cleaning schedule, I thought these would be helpful. I don’t use these for large brushes, only small brushes like concealer or eye brushes. Every time I use my small brushes, I quickly clean them with a wipe. It’s been great!
Maybelline Master Precise Skinny Gel Eye Pencil
This eye pencil has actually been a fave for months, but I’ve just gotten around to mentioning it. This super skinny gel eye pencil has been my go-to eyeliner. The pencil is so skinny and so easy to apply. It’s very smooth and very pigmented. In fact, it reminds me of the Marc Jacobs Fineliner!
Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette
This is one of my newer additions to my makeup collection, and I am so happy with it! These are my favorite colors at the moment, and it’s a major plus that they’re matte. I love the variety of tones and colors in this palette. The grays are so pretty and the warm tones are the perfect crease transition shade. If you enjoy matte colors, I highly recommend this palette!
This month, I’m giving away a Maybelline Master Precise Skinny Gel Eye Pencil and an E.L.F. Poreless Face Primer. Please use the giveaway widget below, and good luck to all who enter!
