I was sent this skincare for review. All opinions are mine alone.
Recently, I mentioned in a video that I am purposefully using my skin treatments. My collection of skin treatments is ever-growing. They are the skin care item that I love to try. My skin always reacts well to treatments, so I’ve been using one every other night. I’ve been alternating between exfoliating masks and hydrating masks.
One thing that hasn’t changed at all is my love of doing a facial mask on Sunday night. It’s become my routine over the last few years. I love starting the week with a freshly exfoliated and hydrated face. I always follow up my exfoliating masks with a hydrating facial oil. There really isn’t a better way to start the week.
I started this week off using a new-to-me mask from Rodial. This Snake Mask is unlike any mask I’ve ever used. It’s a thick, gel-like mask that dries down in about 15 minutes. While it’s drying, I do other things like remove my nail polish or plan my outfit for the next day. Once it’s dry, you peel off the entire thing. Let me tell you, it feels so good to peel it off. It feels like I’ve peeled all of the dead skin cells and gunk out of my pores. My skin feels so fresh and clean afterward. This is due in part to the Kaolin French Clay, which draws out impurities and excess sebum. I truly see a difference in my skin after using this mask.
After I’ve removed the mask, I apply my eye cream and night time moisturizer. As an extra benefit for my skin, I add a facial oil over my night time moisturizer. Facial oils always feel amazing after a mask, and this one does not disappoint. This Rodial Stem Cell Super Food Facial Oil is the lightest facial oil I own. I’ve been very happy with it, because it hydrates my skin without making it feel greasy. The ingredients are PhytoCellTec Alp Rose, Olive, Vitamin B5, and Rosehip Seed Oil. It has been a great start to my week.
