These products were sent to me for review. All opinions are mine alone.
My overarching goal in my skincare routine is improve the texture of my skin and, along the way, to get rid of skin damage caused my acne scarring and sun burns. I also want to prevent break outs. It’s been my experience that the products I use to improve my skin’s texture have also prevented break outs.
To give you an idea of what my skin is like, I have combination-oily skin that is easily dehydrated. I am prone to break outs. Exfoliation and rich moisturizers have improved my skin over the years. I prefer topical exfoliation, as opposed to physical exfoliation.
Recently, I was sent some new products to try from Nip + Fab. I’ve heard many nice things about Nip + Fab, so I was definitely excited to try these out in my skincare routine. So far, these have been a wonderful addition and so timely, honestly. I’ve put my Good Genes to the side, so I can work through my large collection of skin treatments. These two products have been keeping my skin exfoliated and soft.
This first product has been so easy to work into my routine. I’ve been using it as my morning cleanser and exfoliator. It’s very gentle, yet very effective. My face feels very smooth after I’ve swipe the cotton pad over my skin. The pads are soaked in a a solution of glycolic acid to exfoliate, witch hazel to tone, blue daisy to soothe, and hyaluronic acid to moisturize.
After I apply my eye cream and my day moisturizer, my face is ready for the day.
I have been a fan of clay masks for years. Typically, I use them to rejuvenate and ‘reset’ my skin. However, this mask is a little different. It does dry down like other clay masks. It’s very smooth and it soothes my skin so well. This mask contains witch hazel like the Glycolic Fix Pads.. This mask is meant to soothe and hydrate your skin, and it also makes it very soft. I was so impressed with how my skin felt after the first use, that I’ve been using it in between my more intense masks.
Instead of drying down to a thick clay on your face, it actually sinks into your skin. When it looks like it’s almost gone, that’s when you wash it away with warm water.
Have you ever tried NIP + FAB products? I have a few more that I’m trying, and I will share my thoughts when I’ve tried them a little longer.
