Recently, I was perusing Target (as you do), and I found a few items the ‘dollar’ spot that intrigued me. Side note: are we still calling the dollar spot? I don’t even know.
Now, I am the type of person who loves to decorate for holidays. However, Valentine’s Day hasn’t really been a holiday that I’ve gone all out for. I might put up a heart garland here or there, but there was something about the Valentine’s Day decor at Target that caught my eye.
I picked up a few pieces to revamp my vanity area. I should probably say ‘vanity,’ because it’s just my dresser (that needs a good polishing). The wood is so pretty and the mirror is large, so it’s the perfect spot to keep my makeup. After I made my purchases at Target, I cleaned up my makeup area and streamlined the selection that I keep out and readily available. In fact, I even put out some of my basic, go-to jewelry. I hope this inspires you!
I thought this adorable dish would be perfect for some of my favorite earrings.
This necklace stand is perfect for keeping my go-to necklaces all in one spot.
I found these gorgeous candle holders that fit my brushes so well.
This candle has a floral scent that is perfect for this time of year. I’m not sure if I’ll ever light it. It scents up the room anyways!
I have a couple drawers where I keep my nail products, new makeup products, and generally just stuff I haven’t used yet.
These organization drawers that I bought from Michael’s a couple years ago have been so great for storing all my makeup!
My current perfume faves stay on top of my makeup drawers, along with my special jewelry and a gorgeous trinket box that my husband gave me for our wedding.
The trinket box has engravings of some of Leonardo DaVinci’s cat drawings.
And of course I had to bring out my most recently purchased eyeshadow palette, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette.
How do you decorate for Valentine’s Day?
