Can you believe another month has gone by? We are a quarter of the way through this year, and it feels like it is flying by! I have a few products from the past month that I’m eager to share with you. I was really focusing on making my skin looks its best, so a few of the products are great if you want a naturally flawless makeup look.
Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
Pricey? Yes. Effective? Yes!! I completely understand why this is a fave on YouTube. I’ve seen this product in so many videos, it’s crazy. I started using this at the end of last year, so I’ve had a few months to make sure I love it. It keeps the shine at bay, sets my foundation, and the finish is amazing. There is nothing cakey or powdery about this powder. It looks so natural!
L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation
I posted a review of this foundation last week. This has been my go-to foundation, and I really could not be happier with a drugstore foundation. It has amazing coverage, great lasting power, and a natural finish. Dare I say I like this better than the Pro-Matte? Maybe.. just maybe …
Sephora Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer
I saw this on Cheryl’s channel and really enjoyed her review of it. It seemed like everything I want in a concealer: hydration, coverage, staying power, and a natural finish. Actually … that’s basically everything I want in a foundation, too! I love how brightening this is for under my eyes. I always have dark circles under my eyes, even when my allergies aren’t reeking havoc on my sinuses. So, this has been perfect during the beginning weeks of spring when the pollen is basically on everything.
Surratt Beauty Artistique Blush – La Vie en Rose
This is another very pricey product that has worked its way into my daily routine. I bought this during a VIB Rouge sale last year, and I have absolutely no regrets. This blush costs $32, and it is completely obvious in it texture, color, and finish. In the pan, it looks like a normal rosey shade. On the skin, it has a gorgeous glow unlike any blush I have. Most glowy blushes I won have some sparkle or shimmer to them, but this one is somehow glowy without any shimmer or sparkle. It looks flawless on my skin, and I absolutely love it. Since it’s a color I can wear any day with any outfit, it will definitely be in the rotation for a long time.
L’Oreal Voluminous Superstar Mascara
I know last month featured another favorite mascara, but I was actually at the end of that tube. This month, I opened this mascara from L’Oreal. They also have a corresponding liquid eyeliner, but I haven’t tried this yet. If you’ve ever used the L’Oreal Extend mascara that is double-ended like this one, you will LOVE the Superstar Mascara. One end is a primer and the other is a mascara. The mascara wand is a traditional bristle wand, which is what I prefer. This primer/mascara combo is amazing. So much staying powder, zero smudging, and lots of definition and curl. I love it!
