Another month gone by, another chance to share my recent beauty favorites! I don’t have any makeup favorites to share, because I have been using the same makeup products over and over again. Last week, I cleaned up my makeup area to put some lesser-used products in the front. So, I’m sure I’ll have some great items to share at the end of May. 😉
This month, it’s been all about the skin. I really want to feel confident in my skin this summer, so I’m keeping my skin hydrated every day. Most of these are related to my skin, with a few (new) makeup brush faves.
Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Creme
I am 99% sure I’ve mentioned this product on the blog before, but I just have to mention it again. There are only two foot products that keep my very dry feet hydrated all day. This is one of them. For example, if I use just any lotion on my feet, they look hydrated at the beginning of the day. By midday, my feet will look dry again. When I use this Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Creme, my feet are hydrated all day long, even when I wear flip flops! I highly recommend this for sandal season.
Acure Foaming Shaving Cream – Blue Chamomile + Cucumber
I tried this shaving cream on a whim and ended up really liking it. It’s free from a lot of ingredients that people try to avoid, and it’s vegan. The scent is light, fresh, and slightly herbal. My skin is very sensitive, and it doesn’t bother me at all. If it doesn’t bother my skin, it probably won’t bother yours. It doesn’t foam like a normal shaving cream. It’s more of a frothy creamy, which is what I prefer.
This has become my absolute favorite brush cleanser. I bought the small size a few months ago just to try it out. Since I liked it so much, this larger size was a must. When you open the container, one side has the solid soap in it. The other side has a rubbery plastic piece to scrub the brushes on. It cleans my brushes so fast. Plus, all the scrubbing gives them a good deep clean.

I’ve heard a lot about dry brushing over the years but had never tried it. The brush set is really nice, and this long-handled brush is my favorite piece. It actually comes apart in two pieces, so you can put your hand in the strap to brush your legs, arms, and torso. With the handle attached, you can reach your back. My skin feels really good when I dry brush first thing in the morning.

Since I (previously) only had one lip brush, the lip brush kit was the best choice for me. The lip brush kit comes with three brushes. One is a large concealer brush, which is perfect for applying lip color all over your lips. One brush is a tiny detail brush, and the third is a retractable brush. Each of the brushes are very, very soft and high quality. I don’t like floppy brushes, and these are the perfect combination of soft, yet stiff, bristles. I really, really like these and can’t wait to purchase more (specifically their eye brush kit).
