Y’all, the weekend is finally here! It’s time to relax a little, chill out for the evening, and enjoy some time with our family and friends. There’s is nothing more relaxing than fixing a cold drink like this Moscow Mule cocktail after dinner and enjoying it with a snack on the back porch. We have really been enjoying our screened in porch, especially since the mosquitos have been out in full force (thank you, rain!).
Popcorn is usually our snack of choice in the evening. When the kids were younger, they loved to eat popcorn as a night time snack. We have popcorn so often in the evening, it’s almost a tradition. If you’ve never tried SkinnyPop popcorn, you have to! I was introduced to the brand years ago in a college class. Someone had brought it as a snack one day, I tried it, and the rest is history. SkinnyPop and I have been together forever ever since. It’s just so good, and it comes in a variety of flavors.
If you’re like me and love a good snack & drink combo in the evening, SkinnyPop sent over this super handy snack guide. It has a ton of drinks to pair with their popcorn. The other night, I tried out the Moscow Mule cocktail paired with their classic popcorn. It was the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day.
Since a Moscow Mule cocktail is typically served in a copper mug, I had to pull out ours. It’s really nice if you chill the mug before mixing the drink.
The Moscow Mule cocktail recipe is super simple. Fill your mug with ice. Add a fresh squeeze of lime juice, 2 oz of vodka, and 4-6 oz of ginger beer. Stir and enjoy your Moscow Mule cocktail! I love a good drink, but I love it even more when it’s easy to make.
Check out the rest of the drinks on this handy little guide! I really want to try the white peach sangria with the sweet popcorn. Doesn’t that sound yummy?
