Have you all been noticing all the new arrivals at The Flourish Market? Every time Em posts something on Instastories, I feel the need to snag it up! Lately, I’ve been buying more and more socially-conscious clothing. I really want my money to speak for my values, and that’s the biggest reason I’ve been shopping at The Flourish Market so much. I know my purchases are just a drop in the bucket, but my goal is to only purchase fair trade clothing from now on.
Em has so many amazing brands on her site. From clothing made in the USA to jewelry made by the non-profit International Sanctuary in India, there is something for everyone. And! She has an amazing gift selection, so you should definitely check them out the next time you’re shopping for a b-day present.
When I saw this dress, it immediately stood out to me. This is the Peasant Dress in chambray blue. With all the chambray in my wardrobe, this color is definitely going to mix and match well. I am very impressed with the quality of this fabric. Stretchy knits can really go either way — they’re either great or they show everything (you know what I mean?).
This one is great. I do need to wear a half slip, because the skirt portion of the dress gives me major VPL. It clings just a little bit, but my half slip solves that problem. The top portion of the dress is lined, and the sleeves hit the perfect spot at my elbow. Being a petite, it’s sometimes difficult to shop at boutique stores. Proportions are different with each brand, but I am so happy that this dress fits me. An added bonus is that the fabric is incredibly soft!
