I was able to purchase these cruelty free beauty bath bombs at a discount, in exchange for a review. All opinions are mine alone.
Last week, we had the busiest week in a long while. There was nothing really out of the ordinary, just the usual life things that happen one after another and by the time you know it, you’re five loads behind in laundry and your floor hasn’t been swept in 3 days. When Friday rolled around, I was beyond ready to relax. There’s nothing better than taking an hour to myself to rest and do a facial mask. And since multi-tasking is my natural slate, I throw in a bath bomb to scent the water and give some extra hydration to my skin.
Now, to be completely honest, my pampering session starts when I brew a nice, hot cup of tea. I personally prefer peppermint tea in the evening. It’s refreshing and soothing. With a little bit of honey, it’s the perfect drink to sip while I read my current (creepy… it’s October!) book.
Once I’m done reading and drinking my tea, I head into the bathroom to pick out a bath bomb. This Cute & Young bath bomb set is available on Amazon. It has six cruelty free beauty different bath bombs, which are scented to do different things. For this particular bath, I wanted the Feeling Good scent because it smelled so relaxing and soothing. You can see pictures down below of the bath bomb when it explodes in the water. That is definitely the most fun part of using a bath bomb.
My skin instantly felt soothed and smooth when I put my hands in the water. It smelled like lavender and the water turned pale pink. In case you are worried about staining, it did not stain the tub at all. If you are looking for a variety of cruelty free beauty bath bombs to stock up on, this is a great set. You get six different scents, the bath bombs are huge, and the shea butter and oils in the bath bombs make my skin feel so smooth.
I love sitting in the bath with a mask on my face. This particular mask from Farmacy feels so good. It looks like honey, but it actually takes on a thick, frothy texture when it’s applied to your skin. Once it sits on the skin for about a minute, it starts to warm and it feels so good. It leaves my skin feeling very hydrated and smooth.
After a hot bath, it feels so good to jump into jammies and head to bed. And, yes, those are Christmas pajamas. Once the weather turns colder, the Christmas jammies are fair game!
