It’s that time of year again! That lovely time between summer and fall where everyone is sweating and wishing it was colder. Honestly, I love seeing everyone’s posts about transitional fall fashion. It gets me excited for scarves, mittens, and boots. Part of me wants to participate and offer my own opinion on transitional fall fashion and style. The other part of me knows that I live in transitional styles every season apart from winter. Working in a freezing office insures that all my cardigans are ready for use during any season of the year.
So, I really do have a little bit of a fomo in the ‘transitional’ style arena. The most transitional I get this time of year is combining this gorgeous lace top with my new dark work pants. This top is so, so summery. I bought it during the almost-end-of-summer sales from Loft. I just have to get one more wear out of it before it’s packed away with all the warm weather clothes.
Speaking of transition, you’ll notice that these pictures are in our lovely bathroom. The sun was sneakily tucked away when we went outside to snap a few pics. When did this happen? Day by day, the sun has been getting up later and I never noticed. I am now counting down to the next time change. I honestly can’t wait, not only for the extra hour but for the extra picture-taking time!
Do you look forward to the time change next month? What’s in your fall fashion transition wardrobe? Let me know in the comments below!
