This dress was sent to me to style. All opinions are mine alone.
Happy Friday Eve! Did you have a great week? In case you don’t know, I’m running a giveaway for a Chic Soul gift card over on Instagram. If you are interested in entering for a chance to win a $50 gift card to their shop, hop on over to check out the details.
Chic Soul was so kind and sent me two items to style. If you haven’t checked out their shop yet, I highly recommend them. The two items I’ve received, the other one being a top that was featured in yesterday’s outfit, have felt so comfortable. The fabric is soft yet holds it shape. The colors are vibrant. I have washed both items, and they still look brand new. I also love Chic Soul’s price points. When you visit their shop, you will definitely find something to refresh your wardrobe for fall and winter.
So, today I bring you one way to style a dress with pants. This style will be useful if you want prefer to be more modest. Granted, this dress does reach my knees, so I didn’t necessarily feel the need to be more modest. But, if you do , then this is a great suggestion. This is also helpful for when it’s very cold during the winter and you still want to wear a dress.
Try to pick a pair of pants that’s a contrasting color to your dress It visually breaks up the lines of your outfit, so you don’t look like one column of color. This pair of burgundy pants was perfect not only because it contrasts with the teal but it matches the floral pattern. I am so happy with this outfit. It’s definitely going to be repeated this season.
