These bras were sent to me for review. All opinions are mine alone.
‘Tis the season for layers! Layers are my absolute favorite part of dressing for the fall. This past weekend, I unpacked all of my scarves and shawls. My collection has grown so much over the years. It had gotten slightly out of hand, so I had a really intense culling session. I have such a tendency to hold onto scarves and shawls (and sweaters, honestly!). I’m always looking to pare down my wardrobe, but scarves are always passed over. It’s so hard to get rid of them!
The only downside that I see in scarves is that I, essentially lose my shape during the whole of winter. I’m basically hiding under my clothes for months. That isn’t really a problem, but like I said my shape is completely lost in the fabric.
Recently, I started wear Upbras. I’d seen them on social media and was super curious to try them, and they asked if I would like to try a couple. I asked if I could try the convertible bra and the strapless bra. My thinking is that the convertible bra is the most bang for your buck, and it will very useful not only with dresses but also with summer clothes. As for the strapless bra, I’ve only found one strapless bra in my life that has been worth anything, and I was hoping this particular bra would be the second.
And, my friends, it is! Can you even tell I’m wearing a strapless bra with this outfit? I know this shirt didn’t need one, but this simply shows how well made the bra is. I have no lumps or bumps where the back strap is, and the tops of the cups don’t come away from my body. It was very form fitted and perfect for my shape. I can’t be happier with both of the bras. If you’ll keep scrolling down, I have some pictures that show the specifics of how the bras work.
The bras come with this thick, yet very comfortable, padding on the inside. If you look along the bottom of the wire towards the center, you see two hooks. Each hook controls one side of the bra. When you have the bra on, you will on the straps and hook it where you want, depending on how much lift you would like. And it’s as easy as that!
I’ve worn quite a few push up bras, and these are the first that don’t actually feel like I’m wearing a push up bra. I’ve had absolutely no spillage out of the tops or sides, and they give a lot of support. I’ve been wearing the convertible bra under my work clothes, and it’s
been incredibly comfortable all day. These bras are a welcome addition
to my bra collection. If you are in the market for a good fitting bra
that gives you lift, I highly recommend the Upbra.
