I’m so excited about the November Petit Vour box! In case you’ve never heard of Petit Vour, it is a monthly beauty subscription box that features organic, natural, cruelty free, and vegan beauty products. It costs $18 a month, and you receive 4-5 large samples. Occasionally, they include full-size products.
That brings me to why I’m so excited about this Petit Vour box, because November’s box had two full-size products in it. The November box is valued at $49.50, which is super exciting. Let’s get into the box!
My Daughter Fragrances “My Wild,” $2.50, full-size $85
I could smell this perfume as soon as I opened my Petit Vour box, and it smells so amazing. I’ve never heard of My Daughter Fragrances, and they have a gorgeous website that has a lot of information on their perfumes. My Wild is their newest fragrance, and unfortunately I could not find any information about it on their website. Included on the Petit Vour information card was that it’s a sophisticated blend of violets, pink pepper, juniper berry, wild strawberry, vanilla, atlas cedar, sandalwood vetiver, and guaiac wood. It’s a mellow floral scent with woodsy undertones (my words). I have been enjoying this one.
Mettä Skincare Coconut Lip Balm, $14
I am always happy to have a lip balm in my Petit Vour box. Between free lip balms and chapsticks from Grove Collaborative and the lip balms I’ve received through Petit Vour, I rarely have to think about purchasing lip balm. This solid coconut lip balm is … quite solid. It’s been a little hard to smoosh it enough to get it on my lips. So, it does take a few swipes to get enough on my lips. However, when it’s applied, it feels so soft and hydrating. I have really been enjoying it. It’s in my nightstand so I can remember to us it every night.
It’s been such a long time since I’ve used a makeup setting spray. I had not happened upon one since switching to cruelty free. In fact I have an amazing powder now that’s been setting my makeup very well. This makeup mist is okay. I think the spray nozzle would be improved, because my face feels very wet when I use this. I would rather the mist be more finely spritzed, if that makes sense. If you are looking for a cruelty free makeup setting spray and are not picky about the size of the spray, I would definitely recommend this. It’s very effective, I just don’t like the packaging.
Juice Beauty Green Apple Brightening Gel Cleanser, $15, full-size $26
Juice Beauty was one of the first natural skincare brands I ever tried, years ago. I am always excited to see a Juice Beauty in my Petit Vour box. This gel cleanser is nice, but it’s not something that I would purchase. I prefer an exfoliating or creamy cleanser. Since I use a cleansing balm at night, I have saved this for my morning routine. It’s very nice and effective, if you like a gel cleanser. It’s very refreshing in the morning. It’s not for me, but it’s a really great cleanser.
Last but not least, I have to share this month’s art! Each information card is a work of art, and the November picture is no exception. I love how each card embodies the feeling of that particular month. How cute is the little dog in the leaves?
