Every time I get my Petit Vour box in the mail, I get so excited to share it with you all. Discovering new cruelty free and natural brands is so much fun, and my goal is to build my Petit Vour box reviews to help other people navigate the world of cruelty free and natural skincare and beauty. It can be daunting to switch over your entire beauty routine, but I feel pretty confident about it now! In a few months, it will be a year since I decided to go cruelty free and I couldn’t be happier about it.
I was very pleasantly surprised to find three full size products in this month’s Petit Vour box. How exciting is that?!
PETIT VOUR BOX JANUARY 2018
Aromatherapy Associates Hydrating Revitalising Facial Oil, $15.20 (full size $64)
If there is one beauty product that I love splurging on, it’s facial oil. In fact, for the longest time I used a Rodial facial oil as a replacement for my night time moisturizer. My skin felt and looked so amazing during that time. I’m very excited to try this one, as I’ve heard a lot of great things about this brand. I’ll definitely report back on what I think.
I was so, so excited to have a sheet mask in this box! Sheet masks are so weird looking, but I really love how pampering they feel. Andalou Naturals is a really great brand, and I’ve tried a few of their products before. At $5, it is one of the more affordable and cruelty free sheet masks I’ve seen. Keep an eye out on Instastories for my thoughts on it.
this next product I’m a little skeptical about. I hate to say that,
but eye makeup removers and I don’t always get a long. My eyes are
incredibly sensitive to everything, so much so that I use daily
prescribed eye drops. This foaming eye makeup remover is supposed to be
very gentle on eyes, and the directions say it’s ideal for people with
eyelash extensions and/or contacts.
I could immediately smell the cinnamon in the lip balm/lip plumper when I opened it. If you are like me and love cinnamon, then you might like this product. I have experienced plumping products that use cinnamon, and there is a tingling sensation while they’re on your lips. That might be something that bothers you, so just be aware of that aspect. This has a combination of oils to hydrate seriously dry lips (ahem, that is me!) plus cinnamon to plump them up. I am a lip product junkie, so this is definitely the first product I’ll be trying.
