This Colorescience product was sent to me. I am not obligated to review it. All opinions are mine alone.
Back in December, I shared my review of the Colorescience All Calm Redness Corrector. I am still using it every day under my foundation, and my skin is still looking great. Colorescience sent me a brand new product to try that I thought would interest a lot of people.
Last week, Colorescience released a new product called the Total Eye 3-in-1 Renewal Treatment. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have been my mini instastories review. This is an under eye treatment that visibly improves dark circles, puffiness, lines, and wrinkles. It also contains 35 SPF, which is essential for preventing even more skin discoloration. For $69, you get .23 ounces/7 mL. One container lasts 60 days, based on applying it twice a day.
There are a couple ways you can use this Colorescience product. Basically, you apply it under your eyes, pat it out, and then apply your makeup over it. You can also apply it throughout the day if you need more coverage. Additionally, you can wear it at night as an overnight treatment.
This weekend, I took some before and after pictures so you can see the coverage level. I’ve been wearing this under my concealer every day. On this particular day, I only wore the Colorescience Total Eye 3-in-1 Treatment, the All Calm Redness Corrector, a little cc cream, and a little powder.
I also want to mention how cooling the application is. The silver part of the tube is metal. It’s so refreshing to apply it, because it makes my under eye area feel cool.
The left has the Colorescience Total Eye 3-in-1 Renewal Treatment, and the right does not. It’s like night and day!
This has been a wonderful addition to my makeup routine. While it is a pricey product, I prefer to support brands that align with my values. All Colorescience products are 100% free from parabens, phthalates, synethetic fragrance, animal testing, talc, dyes, mineral oils, drying alcohols, and chemical sunscreen.
Not only is Colorescience cruelty free and free of ingredients I avoid, but they also use active ingredients that I like. The SPF in their products are 100% mineral and free of chemical-active ingredients. Total Eye is not sweat- or waterproof. Do not use this for sunscreen if you are sweating or swimming. Please use a water-resistant sunscreen if you need to.
I also want to address the color of the product. This is a neutral peach-based color and it neutralizes most browns, blues, and some reds. This will work for all skin tones.
This is a product that I can 100% recommend for anyone who wants to improve the appearance of their under eye area. It has been so beneficial to my skin. The page for Total Eye on the Colorescience website has a very large list of questions and answers, in case I did not answer your question here. Please let me know if you’d like to know anything else about this brand or product.
