It’s time for another wonderful Stitch Fix box! For this box, I asked my stylist to send me spring inspired items. As you’ll see, this box was not the most exciting one for me. I just didn’t understand how some of the items were spring inspired, especially one item.
Let’s get into the fix!
Jolie Beldon Textured Knit Top, size L, $38
This was an instant love for me. As soon as I took this out of the box, I suspected that I would keep it. I love the way it feels, I love the color, and I love how casual it is. This was definitely a keep!
Renee C Cally Pencil Skirt, size LP, $48
Unfortunately, this skirt was not the right size. I did not request a larger size, because the color just wasn’t me. I also didn’t care for the print. Since I’d requested spring items, I see why my stylist sent this to me. It’s very fresh and pretty for spring, but it just wasn’t for me.
41 Hawthorn Dawney Scallop Trim Blouse, size L, $54
How cute is this blouse? I seem to have a history with Stitch Fix of being sent adorable sleeveless tops. Over the years, I’ve had quite a few sent. Sometimes they’re the kind of top that will work with a cardigan, but sometimes they’re not. This top was so cute with the scallop detailing on the arm holes, but if I’m completely honest I just wouldn’t wear this. I rarely wear a sleeveless top without a cardigan, so the prettiest part of this top would have been covered. I sent this back.
Goldray Millis Bow Detail Blouse, size L, $64
If the other tops were instant love, this one was instant dislike. All of this top was wrong for me — the size, the cut, the color, the material. You name it, I do not like it. Well, I take that back. I do love the retro aspect of the bow detail. That is one thing that I liked, but this never had the possibility of being kept. Plus, it just doesn’t look very spring inspired.
Fortune & Ivy Alan Dress, size 14, $58
I debated whether or not to post pictures in this dress, but they didn’t turn out as bad as I’d imagined. This dress is so pretty, but it’s definitely not for me. The lining was much shorter than the sheer layers, which showed too much skin. It was also very low cut, and I knew it just wasn’t for me. This was sent back.
What did you think of this fix? If I’m honest, this another bust. But, I’ve actually gotten two more fixes that were wonderful. I’ll only be sharing one of them, and that one was an all bottoms fix!
Let me know what you think!
