The Botanics products were sent to me. I have no obligation to feature them anywhere online, I simply love the brand. I have also included my Grove Collaborative referral link in this post. If you click through and join, you will received a 5-piece gift set and I will received a $10 credit. Thank you for supporting brands that support this blog!
Last year, I started doing seasonal favorites on my YouTube channel. You can subscribe here if you’re not already! Switching up to seasonal favorites (instead of doing monthly favorites) has been such a positive change for me. Even though I’m always trying new beauty products, I tend to be a creature of habit and love sticking with faves for quite a while.
You might notice a theme in this season’s favorites, and that theme is glowing skin. If you read my review of the St. Tropez Purity self tanner, you already know that having a tanning routine was important to me this season. In addition to having a pretty solid routine to keep the glow glowing (hehe), I’ve been loving highlighters and dewy foundations. This is a departure from my usual all-matte-all-the-time attitude in previous seasons.
Let’s get into my favorite products for spring!
St. Tropez Purity Water Bronzing Mousse
Coola Sunless Tan Anti-Aging Face Serum
These are the three products I’ve been using constantly on the weekends in my tanning routine. If you’d like a more detailed post on all the products I use and how I fit it into my weekly routine, I’d be happy to do that! This trio of products has made it so easy to keep the glow on my skin. I’ve only needed to apply the St. Tropez tanner twice a week. The face tanner is applied 3-4 times a week before, during, and after my tanning sessions. I can’t recommend these products enough. They are effective, they don’t make my skin break out, and they are cruelty free.
xoBeauty Radiant Highlighting Power in Aurora
Wet n Wild MegaCushion Foundation
Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Hermosa Rose
BECCA Undereye Brightening Corrector
All of my favorite makeup products have been focused on creating a sustainable glow. I don’t want to use anything that will rub off my lunch time, and I don’t really care to reapply my makeup during the day. My BECCA Brightening Corrector has been a wonderful product to use during the high allergy season. The area under my eyes definitely suffers during those times. I apply the corrector under my concealer, and it gives my eyes a radiant, awake glow.
For my face, I’ve been loving dewy foundations like the Wet n Wild MegaCushion Foundation (you can read my full review here), highlighters, and brighteners. These products, coupled with better sleep and more exercise, have really been amazing for my skin. The Milani illuminator and xoBeauty highlighter created a beauty, lit-from-within glow. You can check out some more of my highlighter recommendations here.
For skin, it’s been all about hydration, hydration, hydration! I received a box of goodies from Botanics, and I couldn’t be happier with all of the products. There are only a couple featured in this post, but rest assured I’ve never tried a Botanics products I haven’t liked. These two products, the All Bright Micellar Cleanser and the Botanics 100% Organic Toning Spritz, keep my skin hydrated and supple under my moisturizers. The All Bright Micellar Cleanser removes my makeup in a breeze while also giving my skin a bit of a glow. I don’t know how it works, but it is truly magical.
The Botanics 100% Organic Toning Spritz feels so, so good under my moisturizer. It contains rosewater, which is an amazing ingredient if you have dry or dehydrated skin. On the rest of my body, I’ve been using this Grove Collaborative Coconut Body Lotion. I received this free in a Grove Collaborative order, and I have been sold on this. It smells amazing. It’s very fresh and slightly floral, but it also hydrates my dehydrated skin so well. My skin looks glow-y and feels so smooth when I use this.
If you’re interested in Grove Collaborative, I will leave my referral link here. If you click through and join, you will received a 5-piece gift set.
That concludes my spring favorites. What have you been loving lately?
