This month was so exciting, as far as my mail is concerned. 🙂 Entertaining With Beth is one of my favorite subscription boxes. She includes the coolest kitchen gadgets that are very useful. Every box has also included one food item as well. I’ve been a fan of Beth’s Youtube channel for years, so getting this in the mail is always a treat.
Just check out her entire Youtube channel, and you’ll understand what I mean. She has impeccable taste and tons of tips for entertaining. Even more importantly, her recipes are so delicious!
JK Adams French Style Rolling Pin
This was so exciting to unbox! I’ve been wanting a french style rolling pin for some time. I have a generic one from Target. It’s the type with handles, and I find it so hard to keep clean where the handles meet the rolling pin. This french style rolling pin is so nice, and I think having my handles closer to the dough will help me get the exact thickness I need. I am very happy to donate my old rolling pin and store this one in its place.
Smokey Ketchup by The Entertaining with Beth Condiment Club
I don’t now if I’ve ever expounded on my love for condiments, but this smokey ketchup was a very, very pleasant surprise. This weekend is the perfect time to try it out, too!
Talisman Designs Citrus Zester and Reamer
This is another gadget I’ve needed in my kitchen. Since I’ve started following the Tone It Up nutrition plan, I’m juicing a lot of lemons for salad dressing. I’ve been using my hand, but this juicer is going to make it so much easier. I’ve also needed a zester for a long time, but for some reason I just kept putting off the purchase. Do you put off purchases, too? I don’t know why I do that, but sometimes I just need to bite the bullet and buy things that will make cooking easier.
Peel of Fortune by Vremi
So, I have a sad story to tell you. Every since my husband and I got married, I’ve had my grandmother’s old Tupperware vegetable peeler. It’s the only vegetable peeler I’ve ever owned. It was over 20 years old and still worked. The only problem was that the blade was a little loose. A couple weeks ago, while I was washing it, the blade fell right off and went down the drain. I was so sad, I put the handle away in the drawer and left it there.
What a coincidence that this month’s box includes a vegetable peeler! This one has a couple different options for cutting vegetables. It’s going to be a lot of fun trying out this new gadget.
Cotton Oven Mitts from KayDee Designs
I’m sorry I don’t have a link for these oven mitts. I wasn’t able to find them anywhere online. However, I did find a ton of different designs by KayDee Designs. These gorgeous oven mitts will be so happy in my kitchen. I don’t know why, but I hang on to hot mats and oven mitts forever. They are always the rattiest items in my kitchen. Am I the only one who does this? I hope not!
