When I started supporting cruelty free beauty brands, rms beauty was one of the first to show up on my radar. The brand’s aesthetic and commitment to quality products are attractive to me. I know that packaging doesn’t always matter when it comes to products, but their simplistic design focuses solely on the product within the package. I really appreciate that. Quite a few of their products have crept into my beauty routine, and it’s high time I share my thoughts on their Wild With Desire Lipsticks.
When I first spied these on Sephora, I was immediately drawn to the nudes. I ordered one at a time, until I had the three most basic colors. At $28, they are not cheap by any means. But, the formula and pigmentation are amazing.
Every lipstick needs to be this formula.
They are very creamy but they don’t crease or rub off in a weird way. In fact, they wear down pretty evenly on me. The creamy texture has a little bit of grip to it, so it really feels like it stays put. I love it! Also, it takes just a gentle swipe for full pigmentation. It’s amazing. At $28, this exactly the formula you expect from a lipstick.
I have three of the lightest nude shades, which are Brain Teaser, Breathless, and Temptation. Unfortunately, the two lightest shades do not look good on me straight out of the tube. They pull very yellow on my skin. However, I have used them with a variety of different lip pencils and other lipsticks, and they really give my lip products some lasting power! I was on the fence about keeping them until I mixed them with different colors. I am so happy that I kept them. The next darkest shade is Temptation, and it’s a gorgeous everyday pinky brown.

Have you tried these lipsticks? I’d love to hear about the colors you chose.
