This weekend, I had a few new pieces that I added to my closet. I haven’t done a post on the color scheme for my wardrobe, but rest assured that denim/chambray is high on the list! I kind of group the denim/chambray color into one group. Anything that looks like chambray & looks good with cognac leather is a win in my book!
This new top from The Flourish Market is incredibly soft and casual. It was perfect on Saturday, when we didn’t have a ton of plans but still had a few things to run around and get done. It was the first free Saturday in almost a year, and we soaked it all up! Our daughter had dance recital last week, so our Saturdays are free until late August.
I wasn’t so sure about pairing this blue top with denim, but the denim has a lot of light colors in it that help the top stand out. Next time, I’ll definitely try it with some white denim. Don’t you think that would pop? Either way, this is going to be a versatile top in my wardrobe. Since my office is always chilly (and our dress code is business casual), this would be so cute with ankle pants and a cardigan. I’ll make sure to take a few pics once I style it like that as well
