I thought it’d be fun to share some of my favorite summer nail polishes. I’m trying to take better care of my cuticles. To be honest, I really have to work hard and remember to paint my nails. It’s just not something I think about, even though I have a hoard of polish. Over the past couple years, I’ve culled it down quite a bit.
But, I still have too much for how often I paint my nails.
And that got me thinking — what if I pared it down to only a few colors? What would that look like?
I combed through my polishes to find a maximum of three polishes that are summer appropriate. There are so many fun options for summer, it was actually hard to narrow it down! But, without further adieu, these are the only three cruelty free nail polishes you need for summer.
Wet n Wild MegaLast Nail Color in Sugar Coat
I’ve recommended this polish more times than I can count. This is actually my third bottle of it. I have yet to find another pinky nude polish that looks as good as this. It lasts so long on my toes, and it lasts quite a bit on my nails. You really can’t beat the price, either. On the Wet n Wild site, it’s listed as $2.49, but I know this is less than $2 at the drugstore.
Lauren B Beauty Nail Polish in #ImSoLA
This is another polish that ends up in my nail polish round ups time and time again. This is such a pretty, fun bright pink. The Lauren B Beauty brand comes out with some really unique colors, but they also have gorgeous traditional shades that could suit anyone. This one lasts a long time, too!
Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in It’s Raining Men
Everyone needs a fancy red shade, and this is it for me. This a true red in a glossy finish. The Deborah Lippmann brands is one of my faves. They have truly high quality products. I also love their nail polish remover.
