The Botanics products were sent to me for free. I am not obligated to share them online in anyway. I always share products that I use and love. Thank you for supporting brands that support this blog
I am always finding and trying new skincare products. My skin has really looked better over the past couple years, so it’s been easier to try new products. I haven’t been worrying quite as much about break outs. The only break outs I’ve been getting lately are either hormone related or diet related.
Botanics All Bright Cleansing Facial Wipes
Normally I’m not one for face wipes. I always have some around to wipe off swatches from my hands, but typically I save my face wipes for traveling. These wipe are formulated with AHA from hibiscus. If you’ve never tried AHA in your skincare routine, I would recommend trying something gentle like this. It makes your skin look so fresh and glowy. In fact, I kept reaching for these over and over again, and now I’ve run out! Botanics is usually carried at Target, but my local one doesn’t have it. I might have to order them online!
Botanics All Bright Micellar 3-in-1 Cleansing Solution
Botanics 100% Organic Toning Spritz
Botanics All Bright Eye Roll-On
Along the same lines, they sent me a few more All Bright products. These are all formulated with AHA from hibiscus. The Botanics All Bright Micellar 3-in-1 Cleansing Solution is perfect for wiping off your makeup before you use the face wipes. It completely melts away my makeup. I have really been loving this!
The other All Bright product they sent me is this eye roll-on. This is meant to do the same thing — brighten your skin. I am already using a peptide eye gel cream at the moment, so I didn’t see any results with this. I do think if you’ve never used an AHA product on your skin, you would see results. It felt so refreshing and cooling on my skin, I’ve been using it over my eye gel cream anyways.
I featured the Botanics 100% Organic Toning Spritz in my spring favorites, so I’ve already spoken quite a bit about it there. If you missed that post, you can find it here. This toning spritz is wonderful for adding another layer of moisture. I’ve seen a difference in how my skin and makeup look since I started using this. Bonus that it’s affordable and from the drugstore!
Acure Radically Rejuvenating Under Eye Hydrogel Mask
While my husband and I were wondering around Target, I picked up a few sheet masks to try. A few of them were from Pacifica (and they were all awful) and a few were from Acure. Acure is one of my favorite brands for skin and hair, so I expected to like these eye gel masks. What I did not expect was for these to work so well I couldn’t stop staring at my under eyes. I know that sounds weird, but these masks literally blurred my dark circles. It was amazing! I got them at my local Target.
Farmacy Honey Drop Light Moisturizer (linked to their Mighties Kit)
Farmacy is another brand that pops up on my blog from time to time. This moisturizer has been so, so nice. It doesn’t have SPF, which is a little bit of a bummer, but I just make sure to use a primer or foundation with SPF. The consistency is a light cream, but it feels very moisturizing. My makeup just glides right over my skin after I apply this. It’s very airy, and it takes just a little bit to cover my entire face. I love it when products go a long way, don’t you?
I bought this at the same time as the eye gel masks. I was very intrigued by this! Have you ever seen a face cleanser that looks like deodorant? So, the idea is that you smooth this over your skin and then add water to lather it up. It foams up really well! I was surprised, again, by how little I had to use for it to be effective. In fact, one of the cons is that you can easily spread too much on your face. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a really easy cleanser to use. It removes my makeup and cleanses my face. I think this would be really great for traveling, because you don’t have to worry about anything spilling.
Can you tell I’m on an Acure binge right now? This was a free item in my Grove Collaborative order (you can sign up here with my referral link for a 5-piece gift set). I’ve been using it off and on between the Farmacy Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizer, and it’s very nice. For a cruelty free drugstore option, this is awesome. I love that Acure has expanded and rebranded, because I’ve been seeing more and more of their products at my local Target.
I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned this, but basically my entire hair care routine is Acure products. It might be time to write a post about that. What do you think?
