These tops were sent to me to style. All opinions are mine alone. Thank you for supporting the brands that support this blog. And thank you so much if you make a purchase through Seenly this month, supporting human trafficking charities!
If you remember from the beginning of the year, I made a few intentions going forward. They were specifically for 2018, but of course I hope to continue them on into the future. One of my goals was to add more and more ethically sourced clothing to my wardrobe.
For years, I’ve been aware of ethically sourced clothing. I’ve shopped at a couple online shops that only sell ethical brands or produce their own ethically produced clothing and accessories. To be honest, it never felt like I could really make a difference when it comes to ethical products. Most of the items I’d come across were so expensive or simply not my style.
Over the past couple years, I’ve found a few brands that not only speak to my style but also fit into my budget. I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to not only add to my wardrobe but to also support causes that are important to me.
Enter, Sevenly! In case you’ve never heard of Sevenly, they are a clothing company that dedicates each month to a particular category of charities. The entire month of July is dedicated to the fight against human trafficking. Sadly, I live in an area where human trafficking is a reality. Being so close to I-95 means that human traffickers can get in and out of the state quickly. In 2016, we were ranked 10th in human trafficking cases.
That is a very scary statistic, and any way I can help spread the word is good. You can find Sevenly’s collection here. I was given my choice of tops, and it was very hard to choose! There are so many styles, colors, and designs to choose from. There is literally something for everyone, not to mention how incredibly soft they are! Every tee I have is so, so soft and comfy. I will be wearing this for a long time to come, but especially during the month of July.
