We’re starting off the week with a round up of my favorite summer products. At the beginning of the season, I was determined to love this season. Summer is definitely my least favorite time of the year. As much as I love experiencing all four seasons, cold weather is my favorite.
Nevertheless, I really want to enjoy the summer season. When I set that intention earlier this year, I imagined that I would find a way to enjoy my wardrobe (which is a whole other post/story… basically, I’ve decided that I hate shorts and black leggings are life on the weekend). Instead, I found my groove with my skincare and my makeup. These are just a very few products that I’ve been enjoying lately.
xobeauty Smooth on Lip Liner in Marie
Nude lips are life right now! I can not get over this color. It’s such a beautiful, creamy color that looks good with everything. It’s not too cool or too warm, and it smooths on (just like the name) perfectly. I wear this over my favorite Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask for added moisture.
When Colorescience sent me this mascara, I did not expect to like it. To be honest, I haven’t tried a lot of natural or healthy mascaras that have worked for me. Well, this mascara takes. The. Cake. It is absolutely amazing. Holy grail of mascaras! It does not budget during the entire day, yet it removes easily. I will probably do a more in-depth review in the future, but this mascara ticks off all my ‘must haves’ for a mascara.
Supergoop! Daily Correct CC Cream
The heat really puts me off wearing a lot of makeup, so I’ve been opting for one of two things. This Supergoop! Daily Correct CC Cream is amazing, and it makes my skin feel so hydrated. The Coola Mineral BB Cream is equally as nice plus it mattifies my skin. I don’t feel the need to powder my t-zone at all when I’m wearing this.

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow Foundation
These are two of the glowiest foundations I’ve ever worn that actually look good! I do not want to cakey and matte during the summer, so glow has been the way to go. Honestly, I don’t want to look like a disco ball. I just want a healthy glow that really picks me up and brightens my face.
