Are you an overpacker like me? Whenever we head out of town, I feel the need to bring everything with me. However, when we’re packing for five people, I really have to pare it down. Over the years, I have gotten a little better when it comes to packing my makeup. There’s one tiny secret I have for you, and it is pack what you love. Imagine all the products that make you feel amazing, and pack those.
I am literally packing all of my current faves. I’m loving all of these products so much at the moment, they’ve really become my current makeup look. It’s all very natural, so this will go with any of the clothes that come along, too.
• Face •
Colorescience All Calm Redness Corrector • This creates a gorgeous base for my foundation and has SPF 50. This will be perfect, since we might be visiting a zoo!
Flower Beauty Light Illusion Foundation • Currently my go-to foundation. Review here.
Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector • I can’t go a day without applying this under my eyes. This goes under my concealer
NYX HD Concealer • This is the smoothest concealer I’ve found for under my eyes.
Marc Jacobs The Face III Brush • My favorite buffing brush. Enough said!
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light • I am using up this gorgeous powder at the moment. It diffuses any redness in my skin and gives me a glow. I will definitely repurchase this!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit • I love everything about this palette, but mostly it’s coming with me since it’s so travel friendly.
Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Hermosa Rose • If you are looking for a rose gold, glowy blush then you need this!
Real Techniques Travel Essentials • Aside from Marc Jacobs, Real Techniques are some of my absolutely favorite makeup brushes.
• Eyes •
NYX Micro Brow in Brunette • This is a great dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hill Brow Wiz, although the colors are a bit warmer.
Rodial Smokey Eye Pen • This is very dark and doesn’t smudge during the day. You can also blend it out before it sets and get a gorgeous smokey effect.
Rodial Smokey Eye Sculpt Palette • I haven’t been able to put this down lately. It has the perfect amount and variety of neutral shadows to make a huge range of looks.
Colorescience Mascara • If you need a good summer mascara, I highly recommend this one. It defines and lengthens and doesn’t smudge one bit. It’s also easy to remove, which is crazy considering how well it stays on my lashes.
• Lips •
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask • My dry lips can not live without this.
Bite Beauty The Lip Pencil in 020 • A nude lip is a must have for travel, but I am bringing a lipstick to switch it up one day.
Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche in Fig • This is the first Bite Beaut color I ever purchased, and this particular tube is a repurchase.
And that’s it! What are your go-to products for traveling?
