I haven’t shopped at Target for clothes in quite a while. I’ve been focusing on adding more and more ethically created clothing to my wardrobe, so Target just hasn’t been on my radar. Last week, we ventured out a couple times to shake up our ‘stay at home during the aftermath of Hurricane Florence’ routine. I’ve always been of the mind to stay off the roads after a hurricane, not only because they could be dangerous but also to help minimize traffic when it’s already crazy.
Well, we decided to get out of the house early one morning and head to Target. Since I hadn’t taken a peek at their clothes in a while, everything looks new and exciting. It doesn’t hurt that I love fall and winter clothes more than any other seasons. I saw this super cute tee and knew it would be perfect for the weekend. It is a thinner tissue style tee. It’s not see through at all, but it is thin and comfortable. I love the southwestern inspired print, too! It feels almost edgy, so I paired it with my black distressed jeans and black slip on sneakers.
As far as sizing, I would have sized up. I bought an L, which fits, but a looser fit would be nice, too. The sleeves feel a little tight or being an L. If you like a looser sleeve, definitely size up. I’m about to start another Tone It Up challenge, or else I would have exchanged this for a bigger size. My last Tone It Up challenge was very successful for me, so I’m hoping the sleeves will fit better in a month or so. One of the biggest rules of buying clothes is buying for your current body, so I definitely feel like I’m breaking a rule by saying that. 😛
