First things first, before we get into this transitional outfit, how was your long weekend? I hope you had a wonderful time with family, friends, and lots of good food! We mostly hung out at the house, and I put out my fall decorations. It now looks like the Michael’s fall decor threw up in our living room, and that is just the way I like it. Our house has a really simplistic, rustic, modern farmhouse vibe 8 months out of the year. Basically, from September to December, I go all out with decor. I just have an unapologetic, decorated-to-the-max style for the holidays. This time of year makes me so happy!
That being said, I thought it’d be the perfect time to share this transitional outfit. I’m not even going to get into that silly ‘no white after Labor Day’ rule. Who even follows that? I will say, once the weather cools down, I don’t really wear white pants. But, it’s still pretty hot here in eastern NC.
And on the topic of transitional outfits, my whole year feels transitional because I work in a cold office. This outfit basically combines a ton of my favorite pieces. White pants? Check. Tunic? Check. Wedges? Check! Paired with a cute necklace and my newest earrings from The Flourish Market, this took me from the office through errands and then back home. This would also be super cute on the weekend.
I don’t have any earth-shattering transition outfit tips and tricks. How do you transition into cooler weather?
