It’s almost Friday! This has been our first normal week since before Hurricane Florence, and it honestly breezed by. In fact, I keep thinking in my head that it’s a day behind what it actually is. I guess that’s what happens when you feel like there’s a ton on your plate and not a lot of time to accomplish everything! It was just one of those weeks. I started the Tone It Up Fall challenge, which is basically just an extension of what I’m already doing in my food/exercise life. I am still eating by the guidelines and planning a workout every morning. Getting up at 5 has been my ticket to win it, but these past few weeks with the dark, dark mornings have found me oversleeping for the workouts. I hope to get back on track after this week, since we’re finally getting back to our normal routine.
I’m really, really looking forward to this weekend, because it’s our only free weekend of the whole month. Next weekend, we’re visiting a pumpkin patch (yay!), the following weekend we’re hosting a pumpkin carving party (double yay, and more on that tomorrow!!), and the next weekend we’ll be in the mountains. We’ll be visiting Marion, Fletcher, and Asheville, which are all new to me. I’m still not entirely sure of what we’re planning. We’ll definitely be going to the Southeast Animal Fiber Fair in Fletcher, but other than that our plans aren’t set yet! This is my favorite part of vacay planning — all the possibilities are possible.
No matter what we do while we’re there, I have a few comfy basics to take along with me. This distressed tee is exactly what all my weekends need. I have it in a few colors, but this mustard is perfect for fall. I purchased this in a size L, but I also have a couple in a size M. I would say go with your normal size if you like a regular fit, but size up for a slightly oversized look. As far as other comfy basics I’ll take with me, my Fabletics leggings are coming with if not for comfort then definitely for necessity. I am closing in on a 20-lb weight loss milestone, and none of my jeans fit. I have shrunk them as much as possible! Sadly, these distressed jeans from Stitch Fix might not fit by the time our trip arrives.
