Last summer, I was slightly obsessed with with the iced lavender chai tea latte. You can check out that recipe here. I’ve been playing around with making a coffee version that I like, and this week I finally got the ratio right. today I want to share my homemade lavender latte!

Like all recipes I create, it’s easy and simple. If you have coffee, almond milk, and lavender syrup, you can make this homemade lavender latte. Well, you might also want a milk frother. Mine is an affordable one from Target. I think it was less than $10, and it gets the job done!

Start off with two things — brewed coffee and almond milk in a small sauce pan. I like 1 cup of coffee and 1/2 cup of almond milk. Make sure to the unsweetened. I prefer all the sweetness to come from the lavender syrup.

Once the milk is warmed (you’ll know it’s ready if there are small bubbles on the surface), you can pour it into your mug. I hadn’t planned to use this mug, it was simply what was tall enough to froth the drink. Add 2 tablespoons of the lavender syrup.

Next, froth it up! You can froth until the foam is exactly how you like it. I like the top to be very frothy.

Ta-da! This would be really great with espresso shots too, but it’s much easier to use coffee that I’ve already brewed. I love the slight sweetness and floral taste from the syrup. It’s so summery!
Side note, I’m still using this coffee maker from years ago. It’s still going strong and we love it!
Let me know if you make this & what you think!
