During the second half of our spring break week, I was home with the kids. It was so nice to just putter around hte house or take an ipromptu trip to the store without having a real schedule. I had kind of planned to film my wardrobe switch out from fall/winter to spring/summer. In case you didn’t know, I store my off season clothes (I have a post about it here) so that the only pieces in my closet are for the current season.
I have enough shelving in our closet to store my clothes above the racks, which makes it very convenient to switch out the seasons. Last year, I stored them in the attic which made for a long haul up/down the stairs. This way is much better! Anyways, I planned to film the process for my YouTube channel, but the motivation/inspiration hit me randomly to just do it and I wasn’t set up properly to film it at that moment. So, I just went with it and decided to snap some pics of just a few pieces I’ve added to my wardrobe for the new season. I’ve gone a little crazy over shoes lately. In fact, there are two pairs missing from this post. Yikes! I’m super happy with my purchases and have been wearing all of my new pairs.

First up, jewelry! I’ve been a long time fan of Stella & Dot. Most of the pieces I wear time and time again are from the brand. My rep is michelebell21, and she is so nice! I love following her on Instagram because she not only styles her Stella & Dot pieces, she also has great recommendations for beauty and lifestyle things. She’s one of the best people to follow on Instagram.
This season, I added the Julia Coin Necklace and the Hammered Cuff set of bracelets to my collection. I love them!

I guess you could say I have a thing for shoes .. and Zoe is never far away from me, so she wanted to participate in the photo shoot, too. 🙂

Starting on the left, I am trying something completely different for me. I saw these shoes at Target and thought they look so summery and fun. I’ll be styling these in the next week or so, so you can have a few idea of what to wear with espadrille sneakers.

Next up, these super comfy, leopard, espadrille mules. These are so comfortable, I also bought the black pair. The black pair was out of stock for a long time, so if you see them & want them, you need to snatch them up!

I have to say — I love my Lottas! These are my first pair of Lotta from Stockholm clogs, and I hope to add a few more to my wardrobe. They are insanely comfortable, and I love the style so much. when I was younger, I had a couple pairs like this that weren’t wood. Over the years, I got rid of them, and I ended up missing them a lot. I’m glad to have this style in my wardrobe again. Let me know if you’d like a style session post with these, and I’ll make sure to photograph all the ways I wear them.

It wouldn’t be spring/summer with flip flops. Funny story, I had zero pairs of flip flops. Last year, I bought this same pair of tan flip flops at the beach and they broke. At no fault of their own, I slipped in mud in the backyard and the thong snapped. These are from Cobian, and they are so comfortable. When I was replacing my tan pair, I also ordered the black pair. I don’t wear a ton of flip flops, so I’m set for a long time (as long as I don’t slip in mud again).

You might have already seen my box of cardigans. from Stitch Fix, or you can check it out here. I also posted a video on my YouTube channel if you’d like to see them in action. My office is very cold, so I wear cardigans year round. I added this blue cardigan and the tan stripe cardigan to my wardrobe and I’ve been very happy with them so far.

That’s about it! What have you added to your wardrobe for spring/summer?
