Is it very hot where you are? It has been sweltering here! It’s really thrown my afternoon coffee for a loop, but I’ve recently switched to a cold brew drink that is amazing. I have to be honest, coffee is just one of those things that I’m picky about. My coffee has to be strong and tasty, and my favorite Chameleon Cold Brew ticks both of those boxes for me.
First up, I get my Chameleon Cold-Brew 32 oz. containers at my local Harris Teeter, which is a Kroger store. If you live near a Kroger, try looking there as well! Here’s where you can find them in store. Find a store near you!
Chameleon Cold-Brew is so, so good, you barely need to add anything to it. Before I share how I make my own at home, let me tell you what I love about this brand (besides the fact that their coffee is literally so delicious).
Chameleon have an all certified organic portfolio and only use sustainably grown and ethically sourced organic specialty grade coffee beans. They brew each batch to perfection. I prefer to speak with my dollars spent, and I love supporting companies that have long term sustainability in mind. Chameleon is dedicated to change the coffee supply chain by developing long-term economic and environmental sustainability.
Now, on to my ‘recipe’! I call this a ‘recipe,’ because it’s really so easy. Chameleon recommends 2 parts coffee to 1 part liquid, which can be water, milk, or nut milk. You can use whatever liquid you normally use in your coffee. I use a mason jar, because I’ve memorized where to pour the coffee and creamer according to the lines on the jar.

I called this a ‘recipe,’ because you really mix the cold brew and the milk to suit your taste. I lean more towards half cold brew and half milk, but I tend to put a little bit more cold brew than milk. Oh, and I use a coconut cream/almond milk blend that is so good! I also pick that up at Harris Teeter.

I add in my ice cubes first, pour in the milk and, lastly, pour in the Chameleon Cold-Brew. You can see that I’ve also purchased the Vanilla flavor, which is also really good. When you have it all in your glass, just stir it up and enjoy! It is the best way to treat yourself on a hot afternoon.
