I am so, so excited for today’s post. Today, I am sharing my Trunk Club review with you! If you follow me over on Instagram, you probably saw my haul on my stories. If not, I’m doing a full Trunk Club review here today.
I was shocked that I hadn’t heard of Trunk Club before seeing it featured on Maddy Gutierrez’s Instagram. I used her referral link to get her stylist (she’s so good!) and received my first box last month. You all know how much I love Stitch Fix and nothing has changed my opinion about them. This is just another way to intentionally add pieces to my wardrobe without overwhelming myself with shopping.
Just in case you, like me, have never heard of Trunk Club, here’s a little rundown. For $25, your Trunk Club stylist will put together a trunk of clothing for you. You can receive up to 15 pieces, and you can decline items before they’re mailed to you. There is an open dialogue between you and your stylist in your message center, so your stylist will know exactly what you want. Since Trunk Club is a Nordstrom service, Nordstrom card holders have the $25 fee waived. You are not obligated to keep anything. The $25 fee is applied to what you keep, and of course you don’t get the $25 back if you don’t keep anything.
I think that just about covers it, so let’s get into my first trunk!

Chelsea28 Raw Edge Tank, $59
I’m going to item by item, but I do have multiple items styled into an outfit. This top was so cute and I love the pretty pink color. The raw edge was a lovely detail. The length was really great. Most tanks are too long for me, so I appreciated that. Since I don’t wear tanks a lot, I sent this back.
Paige Transcend Vintage – Hoxton High Waist Crop Skinny Jeans, $199
Friends. Friends! These jeans were so tempting. I’ve always wanted to try Paige denim, based on the amazing reviews I’ve found. When I was super tempted to keep these jeans, even at the nearly $200 price tag, I dug a little deeper into Paige denim reviews. I found quite a few people who said they didn’t wear well after a year or two (gotta love reddit!!). So, I passed on these. It was tough to send them back, because they felt so good.
Marc Fisher LTD Phebe 2 Espadrille Sandal, $139.95
One thing I love about styling services is that I try things out of my comfort zone. These sandals were a wonderful surprise. They were super comfy and felt really secure on my feet. If they’d been a neutral color, hands down I would’ve kept these. I just don’t wear cobalt blue as much as I used to.

rag & bone Ramona Jersey Midi Tank Dress, $225
Can we just start this by saying I sent this back? I appreciated my stylist sending me something that was out of my comfort zone, but this was actually supposed to be midi length. It definitely was too long for me. Plus, I completely lose my shape in this dress.

Bobeau Side Tie Tee, $38
How cute is this? This is officially the very first waist tie tee that looks good on me. I kept this because it was so comfortable and I’ve been wanting a waist tie tee for a while.
Joe’s Honey Curvy High Waist Crop Skinny Jeans, $188
Joe’s jeans were completely new to me, and I’m so glad I tried them. They felt so good and hit my ankle at the right spot. I don’t wear super dark denim, so these went back.
Vince Malia Loafer Flat, $175
These were another fun item in my trunk. I was hesitant to keep these in my trunk, but I’m so glad I did. They were very comfortable and flattering on my feet. These are so, so cute but bright white shoes as a mom running around town with three kids … not so mom friendly! I sent these back.

1901 Crop Seersucker Jumpsuit, $149
Friends, this is the one that got away. Aside from the Paige jeans, this was the other pieces I was waivering on. I love the way this looks on em, although the wide legs are very wide. I sent this back because I wasn’t sure about spending $149 on a trendy seasonal item. I’ve since found it for $89 and am still contemplating it .. what do you think? Would you buy it for $89? It’s still in my online cart!

KUT from the Kloth Amy Crop White Jeans, $89
I was looking for some new white jeans before I found my pair from last year in the back of my closet. Talk about a declutter fail! These were really nice and thick, but the length wasn’t quite right. Plus, I don’t think I need two pairs of white jeans.

Ali & Jay For the Gram Chiffon Midi Dress, $138
This was kind of hard to send back, because I love the idea of this dress. One, it’s perfect for summer. Two, the flowy skirt was so perfect. Three, the necklace was gorgeous. I should’ve gotten a better picture of it. However, it’s too long and there are side and back cut outs. You can just barely see at my waist that the sides are cut but it actually extends all the way around the back. So, the top and bottom are practically two pieces. Not the best look for me! I want to find a similar dress without cut outs. Obviously, I sent this back.
I was sent two other pieces that I didn’t a photograph. They were a Free People bralette and a red dress that was too small. I’ve already ordered my next Trunk Club and my stylist has sent me a couple more dresses to try. I’m so excited!
