I have used my Stitch Fix referral link within this Stitch Fix Denim outfits post. If you click through and schedule a fix, you will receive a $25 credit & so will I! That means, you get clothes and a credit & I get a credit. It’s win-win-win!
I have been getting Stitch Fix for years. I mean, 40-some-odd Stitch Fix boxes later and it’s still fun. To be completely honest, I had a couple of dud boxes that squelched the fun. However, I remembered the tips I’ve shared with others and ordered another box. I was very clear with what I wanted and I requested my favorite stylist. Since I’ve been on a denim kick lately, especially after my Trunk Club experience (which I’ll be sharing in the next couple of weeks), I requested my stylist send me a Stitch Fix box of denim.
Denim jeans don’t really go hand-in-hand with summer, especially in the South. However, I hate shorts. Jean shorts, cotton shorts, twill shorts … you name them, I don’t wear them. I would much rather wear my favorite Fabletics leggings or skinny jeans. Instead of fighting what I want to wear naturally, I’m just going with the flow and wearing all the denim whenever I want! My stylist sent me

Cosmic Blue Love Adrianne Distressed Boyfriend Jean, $88
This first pair is super comfy, since they’re a boyfriend jean. I love the way boyfriend jeans feel but not necessarily how they look. Honestly, I might would wear them in the fall/winter, but that’s pretty much it. This brand is completely new to me. Have you heard of Cosmic Blue? I sent these back, since they’re not a style that I’ll wear in the summer.

Studio Blue Kelly High Rise Crop Jean, $58
Here is another new-to-me brand. These are a fun, light, distressed pair of jeans. I love the color and the knee distressing. It made me think back to a time when I wore my jeans until they were naturally distressed, instead of buying them already like this! These are not a petite size, so the inseam was a little longer on me. I sent these back.

Sam Edelman The Stiletto Scissor Cut Hem Ankle Skinny Jean, $98
I did not know that Sam Edelman had clothing! I honestly thought they were strictly shoes. These are another pair of light wash jeans. They were so, my knee caps looked like sausages. The inseam was too long, as you can see. I sent these back.

Pinque Levona Button Down Tie Front Knit Top, $34
Madewell 10″ High Rise Jegging, $69.50
My stylist also sent a top in this box, which was cute. It had too much going on and the cut doesn’t suit me. I sent that back.
Back to the important item at hand — the jeans! I was so surprised to see a pair of Madewell jeans in my box. I’ve been wanting to try Madewell jeans for a while, so this is perfect. To be fair, these are jeggings. I think these are the perfect weight for summer. They’re stretch but they’re not too thick or too thin. They felt really good. the inseam was just an inch to long, but there wasn’t any bunching or flaring out at the bottom hem. They are super high waisted and didn’t gap at my waist, which are two major pros! If you can’t tell already, I kept these.
Now, I’d love to hear from you! What do you think of what I kept and sent back? I think my Stitch Fix denim outfits box was a success!
