Oh, man … when the majority of my pictures are bloopers, you know it’s going to be a good outfit post! Today’s post is my first straw bag outfit with this pretty bag from Amerii. I had seen their bags featured on Instagram so much recently, I signed up for their newsletter to get a discount on my first purchase. The style and size that I purchased is the Ata Bag in the medium. They make a bigger size, which is large, but I preferred the size of the medium.
I’ve been styling this straw bag with a few outfits and came up with this simple ensemble. I love how the bag stands out against the simple color palette. My shoes probably should be more warm-toned for it to really go together, but it’s a start! I just thought it was so cute and couldn’t resist a round straw bag. Of course, this is more of a weekend or vacation bag. This isn’t a typical purse for me to carry during the week.
I’d been thinking about this purchase for about a year. A circle straw bag is not very practical, but they are very pretty. Before I ordered it, I double-checked the measurements to make sure my iPhone (with Otterbox case) would fit. I am so happy that it does. The interior is surprisingly roomy. I definitely can’t cram all of the things in this small purse, but it has more than enough room to hold my essentials.
With a fun, tropical trip coming up next year, I am already thinking of so many ways to wear this. This straw bag outfit is just a start! I think I need to start shopping for beach maxis now… How would you style this?
