I wish I had a book review to share with you all. Just in case no one has noticed over the years, Tuesday is almost always the day that I post book-related content. It’s funny how that happens, because it wasn’t really planned.

I wish today’s post was a book review, but to be honest I haven’t finished a book on which I’ve wanted to share my thoughts. Actually, scratch that. I have, but it hasn’t launched yet so that review will be coming in the next few weeks. Yay!
Today, I want to talk about fantasy reading. If you’re a knitter or crafter or you’ve spent any amount of time working on intentional living, you might have come across the term “fantasy _____.” It could be fantasy knitting or fantasy sewing or fantasy baking. Basically, it can be anything that you day dream of doing but don’t actually end up doing … yet.
I want to share some of my fantasy reading. At the beginning of the year, I purposed to read all of Jane Austen’s works. Previously, I’ve read Pride & Prejudice (spoiler: I love it). The next novel I finished was Sense & Sensibility (review here).
Since I’m reading her works in publication order, the next novel will be Mansfield Park. The interesting thing is that I’ve started this twice and tried to watch the movie. It just never caught my interest at all. I’m hoping that the timing was just off for me those times and that this time around will be better.
Do you ever daydream about reading? I always aspire to read so much but get distracted by other things!
