Throughout this post, I have used my Trunk Club referral link, which will get you my stylist. If you happen to spend more than $50, I will receive a credit. If you sign up for Trunk Club, you will have a referral link as well! I hope you enjoy this Trunk Club review!
Today, I’m sharing another Trunk Club review. I was so happy with my first trunk that I requested another summer themed trunk. My stylist did an amazing job at nailing my style and listening to my feedback from my first trunk. If you haven’t seen my first trunk club, you can catch up on that here.
In case you’ve never heard of Trunk Club, it is a styling service associated with Nordstrom. You get assigned to a stylist and he/she will choose up to 15 pieces for your trunk. A trunk costs $25, and that is applied to whatever you choose to keep. If you a Nordstrom card holder, getting a trunk is free. When your trunk comes in the mail, you have five days to try on your items, decide what to keep and send your trunk back.

Gibson x Hi Sugarplum! Capri Tiered Tie Front Summer Skirt, $59
I’ve heard a lot about the Gibson brand on Instagram but never really found any pieces that I liked enough to order. The styles are cute, but they’re not quite ‘me.’ This skirt was more girly than I typically wear, so I sent it back.

1901 Contrast Trim Belted Linen Blend Sundress, $89
My last trunk had a gorgeous yellow dress that didn’t fit me well, so I was excited to see this one in mybox. I love the style, but the it was too long. On the model, it was a midi length. It’s definitely longer than midi length on me! This was sent back.

J. Crew Side Button Stretch Grasscloth Sailor Short, $59.50
These are so cute. I own exactly zero pairs of shorts, because I’m just not a fan. Well, friends, these shorts may have made me a convert, because I kept them. I’ll be sharing a couple ways to style them tomorrow.

Tory Burch Miller Flip Flop, $198
Ah, the elusive Tory Burch Millers. Joking! Everyone has them. I really like them, and I really love the color. I couldn’t justify spending almost $200 on a flip flops because I just replaced my Jack Rogers Georgicas, which are a more affordable medallion style flip flop. I am going to keep my eye out for a sale on these.

Chelsea28 Faux Wrap Midi Dress, $139
As you can see by the title, this dress is a midi length. However, as you can see in the photo, it looks like a gown length on me. This is definitely not petite, so I sent it back.

Madewell Patio Button Front Midi Skirt, $98
When you request your Trunk Club, you can request specific items that are on Nordstrom’s site. I requested this skirt (and the previous jumpsuit from my last trunk, which wasn’t available to Trunk Club anymore) because I love the simplicity of it. I thought this would be great for summer, but it didn’t fit me very well. This was a size 14, but I really need a 10. I haven’t been able to find a 10 in a color that I like. Even at that, I’m not sure what the length of the 10 is so it might still be too long. I actually have a solution to this skirt-sized hole in my closet, and it involves a little sewing. Stay tuned for that! I did send this skirt back.

DeMellier Oslo Leather Shoulder Bag, $455
This bag is from a brand that I’ve never heard of. It was really pretty, with a pretty price tag to match. I buy myself a birthday bag every year, so I don’t really shop for bags during the rest of the year. There are a couple outliers to that ‘rule,’ such as the Amerii straw bag I purchased and my pink Madewell Transport Tote. I sent this back and will keep it in mind for my birthday!

Treasure & Bond Marled Tee, $39
I love that my stylist included a basic tee. I’ve never heard of Treasure & Bond. This marled tee had some cool distressing along the hems. It was really long on me, which is why it’s tucked in the shorts. It was more of a stretchy material, which isn’t my favorite for tees. I’m just an Everlane girl through and through. Their tees are my favorite, and no other brand measures up. I sent this tee back.

Halogen Tie Paperbag Waist Shorts, $69
I didn’t request paperbag waist shorts, but it was really nice trying them out! I have always wanted to try this style but just haven’t gotten around to finding a pair. My stylist nailed it with the chambray color, because that’s exactly what i would want in a pair of shorts like this. This material was too thin. I really wanted it to be thicker/stiffer, so I sent these back.

Madewell Central Chambray Shirt, $69.50
Ahh, I love chambray! This shirt was so comfy and soft, although it was a couple sizes too big. I sent this back, simply because I’d rather have a fabric with a little more distressing. It was so nice, though!

1901 Ruffle Sleeve Seersucker Jumpsuit, $139
She sent me another 1901 jumpsuit to try! I requested the one from my last trunk, but it wasn’t available through Trunk Club anmore. This one is made of the same material. This one has ruffles and a shorter inseam (yay). The length of the body was shorter than the other one, hence the carefully placed sash. It pulled in a really weird way, so this was sent back as well.
