It’s so hard to believe that August has flown by this fast. It feels like summer started just yesterday! It has been such a fun summer, but it’s been a struggle getting back into the swing of things this week! This August Beauty Favorites post was meant to go up on Monday, but my husband and I were celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary. Plus, it was two of our kids’ first day of school! It was a busy day, to say the least. We’re finally getting into the swing of things. To be honest, the first week is a gimme week anyways, so it’s okay to have some grace and admit that it’s hard getting back on a schedule. Long story short, today’s August Beauty Favorites have been keeping me going this past month!
Colorescience Total Eye 3-in-1 Renewal Therapy
I am so glad I repurchased this! This does wonders for my under eyes. It depuffs and protects my under eye from sun damage. Have you ever considered wearing SPF under your eyes? It had never occurred to me until I tried this. I truly have seen a difference in the texture of my skin. I can’t be without this! This was featured in my round up of best SPF products.
PUR Cosmetics 4-in-1 Love Your Selfie Longwear Foundation & Concealer
If you haven’t heard of this foundation, it is entirely possible you’re living under a rock. Joking! But, this is a pretty amazing foundation. The shade range is very extensive, the application is a breeze, and the the staying power is amazing. My full review of the PÜR Cosmetics Love Your Selfie Foundation was posted earlier this month.
derma e Essential Radiance Toner
I always say my Petit Vour boxes are amazing, but my Petit Vour August 2019 was truly a stand out box. If I had to narrow it down to just two products that will stay in my routine, it would be this Derma e toner and the next product I’m about to share. This toner is so easy to add to your routine. It’s gentle yet effective, so I only need it a couple times a week.
Honua Hawaiian Skincare Pa’akai Cleansing Cream
This is the second product from my box that has been a wonderful addition to my routine. This gentle cleansing cream is so perfect in the morning. I love waking up and washing my face with this cleanser. I don’t usually like moisturizing cleansers, but this one has changed my opinion!
DERMAdoctor KP Duty Body Scrub
I purchased this earlier in the year with the hopes it would prep my skin for fake tan. I am not great at remembering to exfoliate or moisturize my body, so I really need a product that will do a great job once a week. This body scrub has been amazing for exactly that. And, yes, it is definitely worth the price! This will carry me through winter as well.
