Friends, I firmly believe there is nothing I can’t do with a couple organizational supplies and my label maker. My goal this summer was to not hear, “Mom, I need batteries!” again, and I do believe we have a wonderful solution that I want to share with you today. Duracell, the #1 trusted brand of batteries, has a new line of batteries called Duracell Optimum.
Now, the kids’ batteries are organized and they’re amazing, high quality, and long-lasting. This just means that I’ll hear “Mom, I need batteries!” even less versus Coppertop AA/AAA batteries. These new Duracell Optimum batteries deliver extra life* in some devices or extra power* in other devices, vs. Coppertop AA/AAA batteries in a wide range of devices, and I am so happy I found them at our local Walgreens. These batteries come in AA and AAA in pack sizes 4, 6, and 12, and they have a reusable tray with the packaging to make it easy to store unused batteries.

As a gaming family, we run through batteries a lot. The kids either need batteries because the controller has died or they couldn’t reach where they were kept. Since our kids are older, I figured it was high time to get all the gaming batteries organized in our TV cabinet along with the controllers and games. Problem solved!

Since we use AA and AAA so often, we now have this handy drawer organizer to keep all of them in the TV cabinet. As you can see, I also picked up a label maker. This way, we can see what we have in each drawer. We use AAs more than AAAs, so we have two drawers of those. Of course, we do have quite a few electronic items that take AAAs, so we have one drawer of that size.

Another plus of this new line of batteries is the resealable plastic tray. This is so much better than the hard plastic ones! It’s so easy to open it, grab what you need, and then replace the covering. I love it. Of course, you could keep your small trays in this organization drawer. I had quite a few batteries to organize in our gaming area, so I emptied mine into the drawers.

Now that I’ve shared how I organize our batteries, I’d love to hear how you organize yours!
