This bodysuit was sent to me to style in a collaboration with Aritzia in August. I have been loving my Aritzia pieces so much. I only feature brands and products that I use and love. Thank you for supporting the brands that support this blog!
Today is all about wearing a bodysuit three ways. I have never thought I could pull off a bodysuit. After having three kids, my tummy area is definitely one that I shy away from showing, even if it’s just tucking in a shirt. I don’t know what made me select this bodysuit, but it felt like a good time to step out of my comfort zone. Long story short, I’m so glad I did. Tucking in your shirt is a great way to look and feel put together, but my shirts would never stay put. A bodysuit is the best way to get the look without the hassle of tucking in a shirt.
Even though I work in an office setting, casual styles are always what I gravitate towards. The one thing I made myself accomplish with this style challenge is to create at least one work look. It would be so easy to pair this bodysuit with jeans three times and be done, but I truly wanted to get all of the worth out of this body suit. I actually really like how it paired with a skirt, and I could easily throw a cardigan over it in the colder months!

I practically lived in these jeans during the summer. They are so comfortable and the color goes with everything. These are actually American Eagle Outfitter jeans, which is a brand I haven’t worn in years. I took a chance ordering them on thredUP, and it was well worth the risk of returning them. This outfit will be perfect for the transition from summer to fall (whenever that happens)!

I absolutely love this for a date night or a girls’ night out. I will forever love an all black outfit with a pop of color!

Bodysuit: Aritzia (gifted) // Skirt: Rita and Phil (gifted) // Shoes: 1.State // Bracelets: Stella & Dot
I broke out my custom skirt from Rita and Phil for this work look. I have lost some weight since this was made for me, so I had to pin it in the back. Next task: get it altered! I love this skirt, and it goes so well with the bodysuit. On a colder day, I could add tights and a cardigan.
I hope this inspired you to try a bodysuit! This was a tiny step out of comfort zone, and I’m very happy with it.
How would you style a bodysuit?
