Today, I want to share a few skincare products that have been working really well in my routine. I love sharing new products reviews here in this space, but it’s also really great to look back and see what’s worked over the past season. I have three products that highly recommend for the upcoming dry weather.
And to be completely honest, the idea for this post came about because I have been too relaxed with my skincare routine. I saw a picture of my skin from this time last year, and it just looked so much better! This week, I am purposing to get back to a better treatment routine with my skin.
Here are the products I’ve been using and loving!

akar skin balance toning mist, $55
First seen in my Petit Vour box, this is a toning mist that you can use twice a day. Just in case you’ve never used a toning mist or a toner before, they are generally applied after you cleanse and before you moisturize. This akar skin balance toning mist smells like roses and oranges, and it’s the perfect blend of both scents. My skin looks and feels very hydrated and healthy when I use this. It is pricey, and I don’t think it’s something you absolutely need in your routine. That being said, there are very few toning mists that I trust from the drugstore. It’s really hard to find a toning mist that doesn’t have alcoholin the list of ingredients, which can be very drying to your skin. And that’s the opposite of what we want!
Long story short: this is amazing if you can afford it, don’t buy a toning mist with alcohol in it, and don’t stress it if you don’t use a toning mist in your routine. But, also, this is amazing. 🙂

DERMAdoctor KP Duty Body Scrub, $50
Hi, pricey products! I am so sorry that today’s round up is on the pricier side. This next product is another one that is 100% worth the price. I’ve been using this jar all summer, and I just thought this week that it would be great to continue my exfoliation routine into the colder months. As much as I love skincare, I’m not the best at taking care of my body skin. I’m trying to be better!
And that’s where this body scrub comes in. It’s literally the best body scrub I’ve ever used, and I think that’s because it has a chemical exfoliator and a physical exfoliator. My skin doesn’t feel rubbed raw or sensitive after I use this, and it actually feels more hydrated. I don’t know what ingredients in this are hydrating, but my skin looks and feels so smooth after I use. It’s best used twice a week. You really don’t need it more than that.

Murad Hydration Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser, $36
If you’ve ever seen my skincare routine here on my blog, you probably already know that I love a double cleanse. First, I remove my makeup with a gel or oil cleanser. Than, I wash my face with a gentle cleanser from Farmacy. It’s been my routine for years, and it really has helped my skin. As far as skincare goes, Murad is a really great and effective brand. It’s on the more affordable side of skincare and their products last a long time. Just a little goes a long way, so I find that I only have to purchase once or twice a year.
This cleanser was sent to me as part of a collaboration with Murad. For that, I am so incredibly grateful. I love partnering with brands that I use and love. I only feature products that fit into my life and values.
