The Simply Earth January 2020 box was sent to me for review. All opinions are mine alone, and I only features products that use and love. I have previously partnered with Simply Earth. Use my Simply Earth link and code RLFREE to receive the bonus box and a $20 Simply Earth gift card in your box!
January comes in a close second to my favorite time of year (my first being December, of course!). I love how everything feels new and fresh, which is why I can’t wait to share my new Simply Earth January 2020 box with you all! January’s box focuses on refreshing your home with natural goodies and making everything smell wonderful. I made a few of the recipes from the January box that have my home smelling perfect for the new year!
Before I dive into the recipes, I’ll explain what Simply Earth is all about. Simply Earth is an essential oil company that offers a subscription box service. For just $39 a month, you are sent 5 15ml bottles of essential oils, recipe cards, and a few extra goodies that you need to make the recipes. If you use my Simply Earth link (and thank you SO SO much if you do!) and code RLFREE, you will also receive the bonus box and a $20 Simply Earth gift card in your box.
The bonus box is simply amazing. It has even more extra goodies that you’ll need for essential oil recipes, along with some supplies for storing your essential oil creations. It’s the best way to start your essential oil journey, because they explain everything step by step. It’s been incredibly easy to incorporate essential oils into our home in a more meaningful way than before.

A few drops of Relief Blend. Fill the rest of the way with fractionated coconut oil. Add the roller ball, cap, and label & you’re done!

Each monthly box contains a sheet of labels that are specific to that month’s essential oil selection and the recipe cards. I love that this is included, because it makes labeling so easy.
Next is the Meditation Diffuser Blend. A few drops each of Lemon, Ho Wood, and Relief. Tighten the cap very hard in order to connect the interior piece. Then, twist it off. The plastic ring stays, and the dropper is stuck in the bottle. Close the bottle and apply the label.

Next, we are making a relief massage oil. This one is so easy, and I am using a new-to-me oil. I have never used avocado oil before, but it is one of the two ingredients. You will notice in the pictures that I made the massage oil in this plastic jar, but I later stored it in a small squeeze bottle. The clear jar was mine, and I initially thought it was the correct size. The January box actually came with a small 1 oz bottle for this massage oil, so I transferred it to the correct bottle and took pictures at the end.
Last, but certainly not least, I am making the Room Refresh Spray. This is definitely my favorite of the recipes, because it just smells so good. Let me know if you make this one from the box. I would love to know what you think of it!

I love this little set of products that I have for my home now. They all smell so amazing. I never talk about this on the blog, but I asthma and need to be very careful with the scents that I bring into my home. I do not use essential oils to treat my asthma in any way, shape, or form; however, I do use essential oils for the aromatherapy properties. Essential oils are one of the few ‘scented’ (just in the sense that they have a scent, not that they have artificial scent) products that don’t make my asthma act up.
I just wanted to mention that in case you also have a hard time finding scents for your home. I have a feeling this room refresh spray will be used quite a lot!
