This Fitglow Beauty Mascara was sent to me in my free Petit Vour box. All opinions are mine alone. I love sharing my cruelty free reviews here! Today’s review is the Fitglow Beauty Good Lash + Mascara (affiliate link).
Natural mascara has been a roadblock for me, in terms of switching over my beauty routine. I have tried so, so many wonderful mascaras from natural beauty worlds (and I will link some of my reviews at the bottom of this post), but none hold a candle to the volume and definition I get from my beloved Marc Jacobs Noir Velvet. It’s just so good!

I’ve been using this mascara ever since my Petit Vour January 2020 box arrived. I wanted to give it a few weeks before sharing my thoughts. I am actually still on the fence about it! But, I’ll explain everything with pros and cons.
Pros:
+Cruelty free
+Beautiful, substantial packing
+Bristle Brush (my fave!)
+Very dark formula
+Slightly wet formula that dries down easily
+Easily buildable. If you like a lot of volume, do 3 or 4 coats.
+Formula promotes lash growth with botanical extracts and plant protein
+Easily removable (also a con)
+Perfect for a no makeup-makeup day.
Cons:
+Pricy ($38)
+Easily removable. If you might cry at a movie or get caught in the rain, don’t wear this.
+Take 3-4 coats to get a lot of volume.
+Not what you want if you like a ton of quick volume.

As you can see, the pros greatly weigh out the cons. However, if you’re looking for something that is super volume, super fast in the morning this isn’t for you. I love using this on the weekend when I just want a little lift to my lashes and nothing crazy.
I also want to address how easy it is to remove. It is extremely easy to remove, so there’s no tugging at your eyes to get it off at night. I love that. However, if your eyes get wet it will smear very badly. If you are caught in the rain or crying at a movie, it’s going to smear. All that said, I’ve worn this during multiple runs and it hasn’t smudged one bit. I think the only problem is when your eyelashes get wet (I must not have been sweating enough for it to effect my mascara).
I’d say for the price, I think it’s high quality and I love supporting a vegan, cruelty free brand. I will use every bit of this mascara tube. I’ve even combined it with my Marc Jacobs Noir Velvet to get a little more length than the Noir Velvet gives me. It’s absolutely perfect for the weekends, when I wear a little less makeup.
I recommend this mascara but not if you have eyes that easily water. It would just be too much of a hassle, and you’d probably want something a bit more water proof.
