Ahh, there’s nothing like starting the month (and year!) with a brand new beauty box. I was so, so excited to get this month’s Petit Vour box after the perfect December box. Today is all about the Petit Vour January 2020 box. Just in case this is the first Petit Vour post you’re seeing, Petit Vour is a natural, organic, cruelty free, and vegan beauty subscription box. For $18 a month, you are sent 4-5 deluxe samples to try. Every month has a full size product!
January is all about being refreshed for the new year and protecting our skin from the dry winter weather. I was so, so excited for the full size mascara this month. Let’s get into this month’s box!

MOA Absinthe The Green Fairy Hand & Lip Balm
This is a wonderful hand and lip balm that smells very slightly of mint. It comes in a solid form in a little silver pot. It emulsifies very quickly on your skin and soaks in. This has been very handy to keep in my purse!

Andalou Naturals Cleansing Milk
If you are new to the organic/cruelty free beauty world, you need Andalou Naturals on your radar! I always recommend this brand to anyone new to natural beauty, because it’s accessible and affordable. I personally don’t care for this cleansing milk. I prefer to remove my makeup with a product that’s a little more oily. I don’t want to waste this, so it will get used up. This just isn’t something I would purchase.

Aether Beauty Eyeshadow in Solar Eclipse
This is a new-to-me brand that I was really excited to try. They infuse their eye shadow with crystals, which I thought was very interesting. The depth of this color is so beautiful in person. I wish it would come through on screen how pretty it is. I like this, but it’s not as pigmented as I would like. It’s not my favorite, but I don’t hate. It’s a ‘meh’ product for me.

Fitglow Beauty Good Lash+ Mascara
I was so excited to try this mascara. There are a few natural mascaras that I like but not one has made me stray from my Marc Jacobs Noir Velvet. Well, friends, this might be it! I will be doing a full review of this next week. Long story, short: it lengthens, it doesn’t smudge, and it’s easy to remove. It ticks a lot of boxes for me!
This month’s box was a success for me! I don’t expect to like every single product that’s in the box, but I am slowly replacing items in my routine with cruelty free versions. Let me know what you think of this month’s box.
