Throughout this post, all products that are cruelty free but sell in China are marked with an *.
I am not a skincare expert, but the I personally believe that the best anti-aging product you can put on your skin is moisture. As I get older, my skin has become more and more dry. Of course, I still have an oilier t-zone compared to the rest of my skin, but even that entire area is a little drier now. Today, I want to share the best hydrating products that I have used.

I shared this Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask* in my Best Spa Day Products last week, and I wanted to share it again because it’s very moisturizing. It has a slippy feeling that really locks in the moisture. This is an amazing overnight treatment, but I have used it during the day as well.
Sadly, I did not realize that Laneige was sold on mainland China. Although they are cruelty free because they don’t test on animals, they sell on mainland China. What that means is their products could be randomly tested on animals, because that is their policy. There is division within the cruelty free beauty community about whether or not to support cruelty free brands that choose to sell in China. On one hand, I do not want to support animal testing. On the other hand, I would like Laneige to not sell on mainland China. I would love to support all cruelty free brands regardless of where they sell, so that they know that consumers around the world want to buy their products. It’s something I go back and forth about every time I make a purchase. What are your thoughts?

When my under eyes are in need of hydration, I love doing an eye mask. In case you’ve never used an eye mask before, they are basically little patches you put on your under eye area. There can be many different benefits to using them, but these Peter Thomas Roth Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-Gel Eye Patches* use hyaluronic acid to lock in the moisture. They’re a great weekly pamper product.

If you need more of an everyday, heavy moisturizer for your lips, I really like the Kiehl’s Buttermask For Lips*. This is an overnight lip treatment that is perfectly fine to use during the day. I usually apply this while I’m doing my morning skincare routine. It soaks in really well before I’m ready to my makeup, and then I just apply lip liner over it.

I have been upping my neck and chest moisturizer game, and this Perricone MD Cold Plasma Plus+ Neck & Chest with SPF has been an amazing addition to my routine. I only use this during the morning, since it has SPF. Right now, I’m testing out a product for night from Dr. Dennis Gross. I’ll report back on that after I’ve used it for a while. This Perricone MD moisturizer has been in my routine since November, and I have seen a huge improvement in my skin.
