If there’s one thing I’ve learned (and, spoiler, there is more than one), it’s that mental downtime is very important right now. It took me a full month to really get out of my funk, but now more than ever I am trying to keep our days looking as normal as possible. That includes taking time to do a mask or taking care of my body, which is why I’d love to share the best spa day products. Also, I took these pictures before my gel manicure grew out. I am definitely not a manicure professional, so I’m currently growing mine out and filing them down … it’s looking pretty rough!

I always like to start out a spa day sesh with a good exfoliating product. This Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial is really effective. You can purchase a large size or you can purchase this smaller size that comes with a small Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil. I always follow up with a heavy moisturizer or facial oil after exfoliating. This facial oil is really great and I also like the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Oil*. Both are great options.

If my skin is feeling extra dry, I will also throw on a face sheet mask. The Farmacy sheet masks are my absolute favorite. My packaging is the old style. These sheet masks are one of the few brands I’ve tried that actually give me results. I might do a post specifically about sheet masks, because they are some of my favorite skincare products. If I’m going to do a spa day, the Farmacy ones are my favorite.

For my body, I follow the same principles. A good exfoliation and lots of moisturizer or oil. I haven’t been able to find my favorite body scrub online, but it’s the DermaDoctor KP Duty body scrub. It’s amazing! I’ve been using it for a while and it’s worth the high price. It’s been difficult to find online, so I’m trying out a new one from Skin Fix. I’ll definitely report back on it.
I have a few favorite body moisturizers, but these two products are spa-day worthy. The Clarins Tonic Body Treatment* feels so luxurious, and I love the way it smells. Just a little goes along way. It locks in moisture and makes me skin look healthy and glowy. My other fave is the Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter*. This is more of an everyday product for me, but when I’m having a spa day sesh I really focus on applying it to all areas. Mostly in the mornings, I just apply to my dry areas like my knees, elbows, and ankles. When I’m having a pampering day, I work it in all over my body. This smells amazing!

Of course, I can’t forget my hands and lips. When I need a lot of hydration on my lips, I use this Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask*. Sometimes I use it during the day as well, but always when I have a spa day (or night). For my hands, I love the Leahlani Bless Balm. It has a beautiful floral scent and sinks intomy skin. I’ve noticed a huge difference in the back of my hands. My hands are so dry, but this helps a lot!
I hope my best spa day products inspired to you take some time for yourself during lock down. Everyone’s self care is different, and I’d love to hear about yours.
