Happy Monday, friends! How are you doing? If you’re reading this post in the future, right now we’re dealing with COVID-19 and some states are slowly beginning to open back up. My state is in phase one of re-opening, and this week will be my first week to go into work since the last week of March. I’ve been home with the kids since then. I’ve been working remotely, and they have been learning remotely. It’s definitely been a juggling act, and I’ve made a point to get dressed every single day. This post is all about my recent outfits.
After I did the seasonal switch from fall/winter to spring/summer in my wardrobe, I felt so excited to wear my clothes again. I organized everything in my Cladwell app, and I’ve been mostly letting the app style my outfits. In case you’ve never heard of Cladwell or never used it, this is a great post to read if you’re curious about how you can use it in your own wardrobe.

This has been a go-to outfit that is so easy when I want to feel pulled together. This top was in my most recent Stitch Fix, and it’s already gotten a lot of wear time. I didn’t expect to like a polyester top so much, but the cut is loose and breezy. This will definitely be a fave during the summer.

These are some more Stitch Fix faves. The sweater was in a box from last year, and I received these shorts in a fix earlier this year. I love how thin this sweater is. It’s thin enough to wear in the spring, and that is quite possibly my favorite kind of sweater.

Along with Stitch Fix faves, I’ve been wearing my Trunk Club faves as well. These Madewell slinkbacks have been so useful lately. They are low and comfortable, yet I feel pulled together at the same time.

This top is another piece I got from a Stitch Fix box. The jeans were a bit of a fail. They fit very weird, and they wrinkle at my knees and calves. To top it off, they are not comfortable because there’s minimal stretch to them. I was pretty disappointed that I realized all this outside of the return time frame. Hopefully I can stretch them out as I wear them. The shoes are a major score from Target last year. Funny thing is, this is the first time I’ve worn them. They are insanely comfortable!

I kept this top from my recent Stitch Fix, although I hesitated to do so. It’s not quite my style but something about the colors really spoke to me. Turns out, this is the perfect top for a jeans & tee day when I don’t really want to look like I’m ‘just’ wearing jeans and a tee. Paired with my Jack Rogers Georgica sandals, this is a really comfy spring outfit.
That’s it for my recent outfits! I have quite a few more to share with you all, but I’ll leave that for another week.
